1.What are the documents required at Air Asia for domestic traveling?

The following documents are needed while traveling on domestic flights:

  • Identification Card
  • Driving License
  • Passport
  • Birth Certificate, if traveling with an infant or child

Note: Soft copies of ID are not allowed for any Air Asia flight. In Malaysia, Driving License is not applicable as identity proof.

2.What are the documents required at Air Asia for International traveling?

The following documents are mandatory while traveling on international flights:

  • Passport with six months validity
  • Visa (if required)
  • Return ticket or onward ticket (if required)

5. What documents are required if I cannot fly due to illness/undergoing surgery or death of an immediate family member?If you are unable to travel due to medical reasons, then you will be required to provide a letter stating your inability to travel from a doctor.

If an immediate family member is ill or has passed away, then you will have to provide a medical or death certificate (whichever applicable) and relationship proof, for example, marriage certificate or birth certificate.

6.How can I make changes in my bookings?

You can make changes to your bookings via the ‘Manage my Booking’ option.
