Singapore Changi Airport (SIN) is consistently ranked the world's best airport and Southeast Asia's premier aviation hub. It connects Singapore to over 100 countries, handles more than 65 million passengers a year, and is known as much for its extraordinary facilities and iconic Jewel complex as for its flights.
Singapore has one commercial passenger airport, Changi (SIN). Seletar Airport handles general aviation only. There are no domestic flights as Singapore is a city-state.
Changi has four operational terminals:
Terminals 1, 2, and 3 are linked by the free Skytrain, running 24 hours and taking just minutes between stops. Terminal 4 is not on the Skytrain and is served by a free shuttle bus from Terminals 2 and 3, taking around 10 minutes. Allow at least 60-90 minutes for inter-terminal connections, particularly when travelling to or from Terminal 4.
Changi has two parallel runways, each approximately 4,000 metres long, among the longest in Asia. Both support simultaneous arrivals and departures, underpinning the airport's strong on-time performance.
Singapore is one of the easiest destinations for Indian passport holders to visit. Here is what to know before flying into SIN:
