Expectant mothers with multiple or single child can travel up to 28 weeks of pregnancy. They do not need to give a medical certificate.

Expectant mothers can travel from the start of the 29th week until the completion of the 36th week only after submitting a medical certificate. They are not permitted to travel post that period.

Children between the ages of 5 and 12 can travel alone with the Unaccompanied Minor service and under the adult fare. You will be required to fill a form for the unaccompanied minors.

Children below the age of 5 years are not allowed to travel alone and children above the age of 12 and below the age of 18 are allowed to travel alone but adult fare needs to be paid for them.

Yes, Etihad Airways accepts wheelchair as free baggage but there are some conditions that need to be met.

  • The wheelchair should be not more than 60kg
  • The height of the wheelchair should not be more than 47 inches
  • The batteries of the wheelchairs should be removed

Guests below the age of 2 are regarded as infants. Infants do not require their own seat unless a child fare is purchased. Tickets for infants can be booked online while booking for the adult.
