'Sprawling across more than 450 acres, the TTD Gardens are one of the best-maintained, scenic gardens in the town of Tirupati. Maintained by the temple authorities, the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam, the garden has an exquisite collection of common and rare flowers that add to its rich tapestry of life. It is believed that it started out as a patch of grass that was planted around the 14th century. There are four main nurseries in the garden, and the most commonly found flowers here include hibiscus, crotons and bougainvilleas. Anyone with an eye for beauty or a love for nature will find the gardens to be a delightful place to visit.'
