Excellent hotel, stayed twice in May, once for 3 days and then an overnight. Front desk staff was very professional and helpful. Niki, the concierge is the best, she directed us where to go, what to see, and what to stay away from. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. They made our stay in Athens memorable, would not hesitate to use the Wyndham Grand again. It was just a nice experience. Thanks Wyndham Grand Staff.

Lovely hotel: comfortable, spacious rooms with a view of the Acropolis. Rooftop bar was relaxing with great range of food.

**Check-In & Fees:** Quick check-in overshadowed by an unanticipated €30 fee, lacking clarity and contradicting the voucher's €2 fee notice. **Room:** The twin room was cozy with all the basics, but the espresso quality was disappointing. **Facilities:** Compact gym and pool. The spa remained closed, unresponsive to contact attempts. **Dining:** Breakfast boasted a diverse selection, including gluten-free choices, marred by weak and unpalatable coffee. **Staff Service:** Reception tried to assist, but some disorganization affected the experience. **Sleep Quality:** The beds were comfortable, ensuring a restful sleep despite some elevator noise, which was manageable and okay with us. **Value & Transportation:** The hotel provides good value, considering the location and breakfast, but their taxis are much more expensive than Uber. **Overall Impression:** While the hotel's central location is a plus, unexpected fees and inconsistent service are deterrents for a future stay.

If you want a good night’s sleep avoid this hotel like the plague. It’s located on a busy intersection and the traffic noise is non stop. Quite interior rooms are available but hard to get. I asked for one but was told the hotel was totally booked (it didn’t look that way to me due to lack of traffic in the halls or up in the lounge) so too bad for me. A really miserable night. The rooms are nice but the service is off. Never again will I stay here.

We booked the Wyndham Grand in order to get our cruise from Athens off to a 5* start. We arrived at reception shortly after 7.00 pm after a full day trip from the UK and were quite impressed with the reception area. We proceeded to check-in and were really disappointed to be advised that due to a flood on the floor that we had been allocated we had to move to their sister hotel a couple of minutes away. This was the Wyndham Grand Residents and we were shocked to see that it was a far inferior establishment than our original booking - probably no more than a 3*. We remonstrated with the reception staff but were told that both hotels were fully booked and our only option was the one remaining room in the annexe. A young lady accompanied us across busy roads to the annexe and assured us that our luggage would follow shortly. Although friendly I am afraid that she quickly let herself and the company down by walking off without a word and instead left it to Matina working alone in the annexe to placate us. She was excellent and fully understood our concerns. She went above and beyond to assist and we eventually accepted her solution to the issue. I am afraid that I just don’t believe the story about a flood and I feel that staff at the Wyndham Grand Athens have let the group down. In my opinion we were bounced out of the hotel due to large conference bookings and instead abandoned in a 3* hotel overrun with 2 separate school kid trips! Overall 10/10 for the Wyndham Residence staff and zero for the 5* receptionists.
