This is our first time in Koh Samui and also at W Koh Samui. During our stay, not only was it possible to relax in the pleasant tranquility, but the restaurants inside the hotel also served exceptionally fresh and delicious cuisine. The breakfast buffet was one of the highlights of our stay. Not only the food was cooked with high quality and locally caught ingredient, it was also exceptional. One particularly impressive aspect was the outstanding service from the staff especially Ammie. Ammie greeted us with a wonderful smile and made us feel like seeing a good friend after a long time. Her thoughtful assistance maintained a pleasant, non-intrusive, yet attentive demeanor that made our stay feel special. When visiting again next time, I definitely want to meet Ammie once more. While the charm of W Koh Samui is undeniable, Ammie’s hospitable nature undoubtedly elevates the stay to something truly exceptional. I can't wait to return.

We have stayed at many W properties around the globe, and this is officially our new favorite resort of all time. So if you are debating staying here, just do it! You will not be disappointed! We stayed for 4 nights and wish we could have stayed longer. For reference, I was choosing between this hotel (W Koh Samui), the Ritz Carlton Koh Samui, and Vana Belle. Location: about a 20 minute drive from the Koh Samui airport and a 7 minute drive to the Fisherman's Village. On the northern coast of Samui island. Not super walkable to things outside the resort but we never had an issue getting a Grab to take us anywhere on the island. Property: Stunning views all around. They definitely designed the property to highlight the amazing views. I found it pretty easy to walk around from our room to the other parts of the resort, but you can always call a buggy to pick you up and take you anywhere with the strategically placed phones throughout the resort. Depending on your room location, there are some uphill inclines. Overall the property is very well maintained and has good lighting at night as well for if you are walking around. Room: We had an Ocean View Ocean Escape Villa. The room was extremely spacious for 2 people and very well designed with a view that cannot be beat. Its also super private so you were never awkwardly hanging out in your private pool and seeing/overhearing other guests in their own villas. Tiger, who welcomed us and checked us in, gave us a great tour and always checked in on us whenever he ran into us to make sure we had everything we needed. There is a separate bath tub and indoor shower as well as outdoor shower and a nice vanity area with a seat and lighted mirror for getting ready. Plenty of counter space for all your stuff and a separate toilet room. You can also access your private pool from the bathroom via the sliding glass door, which makes it convenient if you are swimming and need to go the bathroom or shower and don't want to walk through the entire villa and get the floor wet. They give you a convenient beach tote and flip flops for use at the beach, as well as a small sunscreen and bug spray (but I recommend you bring your own sunscreen as you will likely need way more than the small bottle provided). The room has a lot of storage, which is perfect for longer stays and for keeping all your stuff organized. There is plenty of drinking water available in the room, and you can also go to a nearby Sweet Spot (strategically placed areas in the resort with a mini fridge of complimentary beverages and ice cream treats) and get more waters as needed. Beach: Its not the finest sand I have ever experienced, but they provide you with swim shoes if you didn't bring any and the water is warm and clear. Shoutout to Ball for getting us set up with our beach chairs, towels, and ice cold waters during our morning beach hangs. There's plenty of shade with the trees too so you're not just sitting under the scorching sun. You should definitely wear sunscreen though! Spa: I LOVE this spa! Definitely the best of the Away Spas I have been to. Really great attentive service and they have private villas for your massage treatment so you get ready in your own private treatment villa. What a way to relax! The teas and refreshments they provide you are delicious and the ladies working here are so friendly and hospitable. Highly recommend you come here for a treatment at least once during your trip--its totally worth it! Restaurants/food: We ate at the Kitchen Table daily for breakfast and the food is delicious and fresh and the staff here is great! By day 2 Nim remembered our coffee/tea orders (iced matcha latte and iced americano) and was always so helpful and attentive. We also had dinner here the evening we arrived and it was also delicious. The menu is extensive, with anything from Thai to western dishes so they have something for everyone. We also ate at the beach bar/restaurant Sip for lunch, where they have light snacks and bites. Perfect after swimming in the ocean. The drinks at the Woo Bar are excellent! I got a She Was Cool and still think about it to this day (haha!). They infuse a lot of their own ingredients for the cocktails so a lot of the drinks are one of a kind. Service here is also excellent, and our waitress even took the time to chat with us about how they make the drinks and the ingredients they use. As you can tell, we really enjoyed our time here and I'm already trying to plan figure out when we can come back. If you're looking for a place to truly unwind and get away from it all, this is the place.

Fantastic Stay at the Amazing, Superb Renowned W Samui

We celebrated our wedding anniversary at W Samui recently and it was fantastic! The view (as seen in the picture here) from the hotel lobby is simply mind blowing. Other than the accessibility (even though it was about 15mins away from the airport) and pricing (which was rather steep), we had a great time here in the one night we stayed. From the close proximity to the private beach, great variety of food during breakfast, wonderful room with own private pool and all the friendly staffs who never fail to greet us with a smile. Special shout out to Ms Nancy who assisted us from checking in, introducing us to the hotel layout, brought us to the room and even during check out. A must go for everyone who like staying in the renowned W hotels.

One of the best beaches on the Island, and great atmosphere. Staff are friendly and always making sure you're having a great time, management always around the resort to make sure everyone is having a great time specially Emily. Room is always clean and food is also one delicious and high quality! Highly recommend W Koh sumai and would visit again.

I recently got back from W Koh Samui about a week ago, and with my partner, we headed to this hotel very happy. The staff's service left me feeling really pleased. I would like to thank Khun Ammie, a really professional and compassionate staff member. After I checked out, she thoughtfully delivered my bag, which I had forgotten at the hotel. My bag was delivered to me by Khun Ammie, and I got it back home. Khun Ammie offers expert services and is incredibly helpful and nice. That brightens my day immensely. I will definitely be going back to W Koh Samui soon because it was an incredible experience. Thank you to all the workers. Everyone has been friendly and accommodating.
