Our stay at sawai Madhopur lodge was very comfortable and we enjoyed the aesthetically created property. The staff was very supportive and helpful. The property is having Architecture of 19 th century but is nicel maintained and spread out in a large area.

Great experience at the lodge. Very experienced & friendly staff. Well maintained heritage property. Spa was fantastic. From a shared safari keep/ canter perspective, as this is one of the first pickup point, you also get your choose your spot in the vehicle which is critical.

This is place which has style, charater and charm. Been going there for 10 years and the service, comfort and personal touch always amazes. Staff has stories to share about safar, they are extremely knowledgeable and take personal interest in interacting. Post safari wether you want to wind down sharing stories or watch a musical performance or just indulge in walk around the property watching bata , owl's and other birds. Rooms are spacious and service has a Taj touch, breakfast are big after a safri and the eve based on the season locals making bajri rot on wood fired chulha, lahsun chutney , gud and ghee along with a live performance never fails to impress. Best of all they have kept the charm and history of the place intact with pictures of safri and sawaimansigh hunting which reminds you of a era gone by. Thank you to the whole team and especially Manpreet for making it special for my 3,5 year old niece this time.

Had an excellent meal at the Dining Room of the Taj Sawai Madhopur Lodge where Rajendra Singh enthralled us with the history of the place. The food was fabulous and I recommend their restaurant wholeheartedly. Will definitely come back when we are next in Ranthambore.

The lodge was selected for us by our tour operator, Luxury Golden Triangle Tours, and we were very pleased! We stayed two nights, it would have been nice to stay longer! The food was very good with lots of choices on the menu that will make even the pickiest eaters happy. The room was comfortable, with a very roomy bathroom that had separate tub and shower. The grounds are well kept and very relaxing. We arranged safari through our tour operator, which was outstanding! I recommend going with a private vehicle, particularly if the purpose of your trip is to see tigers. Of course, seeing them isn’t guaranteed, but we were lucky to see FIVE on our first game drive in 3 separate sightings. There was plenty of water in the room, but suggest you bring your own water bottle for on the go as the water (like most hotels in India) is in glass bottles. Overall an excellent stay.
