A Great Choice for a KL

No doubt about it, this is a great choice for Kuala Lumpur and a very welcome alternative to the many high-rise chain hotels in the city. Away from the "action", which is still very easy to access, courtesy of Grab. We splashed out (literally!) on a Luxe Sarang room, which was enormous and very well-appointed with direct entry into the wonderful pool. The ideal way to cool off after a day of sight-seeing. Highly recommended. That said, we were a bit disappointed by our restaurant experience at Villa Samadhi, particularly the set dinner that came with our package. And unlike other reviewers, we found the service in the restaurant strangely disjointed. We weren't the only diners at lunchtime that had to wander out of the dining room in search of staff. By contrast, the staff elsewhere, particularly in reception could not have been more professional and helpful. But overall, a "thumbs up" from us!

Our room at this villa hotel was booked through our travel company. It’s a great spot and a world away from the big high rise central hotels. Just 15 minutes ride into town ( recommend grab cars, cheap and efficient) The food and service is very good. Breakfast was plentiful and the cocktail hour a nice extra. We had dinner one of our three evenings and it was very good with plenty of choice. Our room was one of the less expensive and lacked enough natural light for me. I am not sure how much extra it is for a room with outside space but I would def consider it. The staff could not have been more helpful and friendly, and we enjoyed our departure gift of cookies on our bus journey.

A wonderful place to stay in KL, the room was superb and the service was faultless. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the food was terrific. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to KL!

If you want to discover your inner calm this is the hotel for you. Located in the embassy quarter this small and intimate hotel is peaceful and calm. The staff are delightful and helpful. There is a small on-site restaurant selling Malaysian and Western food. The pool provides a welcome dip to cool off.

This was like a week in paradise: Everyone at Villa Samadhi treated us with a kindness as if we were the only guests. Attentive and polite, all staff members made this stay more than pleasant for us. We enjoyed the restaurant and bar where all our wishes (e.g. "... please not spicy ...") were taken care of, our questions about food always answered. Respectful, polite, attentive and friendly: this is how Villa Samdhi staff was treating us.
