What an entrance to the Palace! The Guards, drums, red carpets, royal drapes and traditional performers is something we will never forget! My Sister, Mother, Grandmother and I were treated like royalty for our entire stay and absolutely every detail of our stay was perfection. Special thank you to each and every one of the staff who made our stay so perfect. If you are after luxury fit for a Queen or King with a rich history and soul then this is your place! The people here are the most genuine, helpful and kind people- they are so giving of their time and knowledge and willing to share their culture with you.

We chose Taj Umaid Bhawan Palace Jodhpur to create special memories with our Grandmother (now 86), celebrating 3 generations of ladies in our family. From beginning to end our experience at The Palace was truly extraordinary. The property would have to be one of the most beautiful on earth and then is made even more special by the expectational service provided by each and every staff member. There were simply too many special moments and staff member names to write down however, I have done my best to capture some of our special memories. In no particular order... Swaroop Singh – The special surprise you organised for my Grandmother (Ana), Mother (Deborah) and Sister (Ali) will be etched in our minds for a lifetime! I will never forget you leading us through the palace museum or taking the time to talk every time you saw us in the hallways – you are a true gem! Sikeander Singh – Your welcome was next level. The Palace tour (including the Maharani Suite) was so special. Your experience and knowledge of the Palace is second to none and you are a true Gentleman! Alka – You truly made my Grandmother, Mother, Sister and I feel like Queens. From walking with us through the Palace gardens to taking photos to cement our memories and recommending the very best places for Saree’s. You always had so much time and care to give. You are a truly kind and beautiful soul! Sweta – My Saree Queen! Your assistance with Saree was absolutely amazing – I have never felt so beautiful in all my life! Shobit – The Dosa Extraordinaire! I had so much fun exploring the tastes of India with you – thank you for your attention to detail and extra yummy food! Rajnandani and Urvi – your assistance with the tailor was unbelievable and so appreciated. Without you my Saree would not have been nearly as perfect! Avii – thank you for taking us to the kitchens to learn how to make cookies and sharing your knowledge about the Mawar Dynasty on the way! Adarsh – For teaching me how to cook the best tasting cookies ever, I will be making these for my daughters when they get home from school today and am looking forward to teaching them how to make these cookies too so I can pass down the tradition! Yakup – Thank you for making meal times such a special occasion and answering all of my questions about Indian Cuisine which I love so much! Pep Singh ad Kapil Yash – for the best mocktails ever! Ravindra - Your help and care poolside was so much appreciated. Thank you for explaining all about Rishikesh and the “winter line” to us! You added so much value to our experience. Mehardin - for keeping us safe and always providing a warm welcome! Chandan – Our poolside service star! You organised the perfect snacks and drinks – I still have a picture of that yummy food and wine in my mind now! Mehardin – For the warmest welcomes! Aman – For looking after us by the pool on the very hottest of days! Manisha – For your exceptional service in the restaurant – you are a kind and beautiful soul who I will always have fond memories for. Deepika (gift shop) – You provided exceptionally warm service and your knowledge about ayurveda, and traditional Indian jewelry added so much value to our experience! Had a wonderful stay at The Ummaid Bhavan. We celebrated our Parents’ anniversary and had an amazing hospitality right from the time we entered till we left the Hotel. Everyone has been so helpful and polite mainly Sikandarji, Avii, Dhirendra, Chetan that it has made an unforgettable happy memory for all of us. Nothing can go wrong in Umaid Bhawan. Every detailing is done perfectly - super courteous staff, lively luxurious rooms, all possible facilities that you may need, exotic food, a warm welcome and a warmer send-off, local rajasthani entertainment, possibility of shopping garments and jewelry, and best possibility of a photoshoot !!!
