Thoroughly mediocre hotel in every way. Dated interior and rooms with lack of power outlets by the bed. The furniture was battered and in need of replacement, bathroom equipped with extremely cheap toiletries, strong smell of sewage coming from the toilet.

Booked via Turim website (not via a third party) to stay for 6 nights. Didn't even look at any other hotel in Lisbon as we stayed for 5 nights a few years back and found the hotel to be excellent. The staff are still excellent and the room more than acceptable. The breakfast is first class with plenty of options and good quality food. We arrived yesterday and the temperature was 27 degrees Celsius. On checking in we found the room extremely hot so turned on the air conditioning. The room did not get any cooler so after a period of time we phoned Reception and they said turn off the air-conditioning as it is making the room hotter! They said that they have the heating on during the winter. I reminded the staff member that it is Spring and the temperature is high twenties with the sun beating down on the window. He suggested I open the window to get some cooler air. We slept with the window open, listening to the noise outside and a very interrupted sleep. As we had travelled from Australia with our weather being in the high thirties we are accustomed to warm weather but we have air-conditioning at home. We have no issues with the staff that have apologised and have told Management of the complaints they have even receiving,, If Management could rectify this situation it would be appreciated by making the air-conditioning available and for the guests to enjoy the rest of their stay.

Hotel well located near the Marques de Pombal roundabout, 10/15 minutes walk to the city center with the best-known spots of interest. The hotel itself is made up of two buildings, one facing Avenida da Liberdade and the other facing a parallel street. The rooms are small but have everything you need to make your stay comfortable. Some rooms are in need of a little renovation considering that this is a 4-star hotel but it is still acceptable. Breakfast, complete with variety. Small details could be taken into account by management, for example having a bottle of water available to drink but no glasses to drink it.Complimentary tea and coffee bags but no spoons available only small details to take into account.

Excellent quality hotel at the top of the main tourist area but an easy walk to the main areas and close to the Edward the 7th park. The hotel is smart and stylish and the polished marble decor on the main floors looks excellent. Loved the bar area. So comfy and relaxing. Nice big tv for sports but usually music plays in the background at a nice level. Some nights live music. Breakfast area was also smart and well laid out. Excellent selection of hot and cold items. Nice coffee. I had a superior room with two beds. Very nice comfy bed and pillows. Polished bathroom. Shower in bath was easy to use and enjoyable. Room overall was well presented. Finally, excellent staff were so helpful and spoke great English. Nothing was too much trouble. Really made the stay special.
