Tiger Machan is peaceful property away from chaos and very close to Ranthambore National Park. From the moment we arrived the resort, we were greeted with warm hospitality and impeccable service. We stayed for only one night in Machan Tent. Decent size of the tent ( need to renovate bathrooms) . The staff was absolutely lovely and helpful, the facilities were clean. They arrange tour and safaris as well. Food choice is limited but tasty n freshly cooked. Best part is Breakfast is served till late so that one can finish morning safari and eat which you miss in any big hotel. They also have paid star gazing experience which is also amazing. There's ample of open space for the kids to play and a badminton court and a garden where they grow vegetables.

A wonderful experience made memorable by the Resort Staff. The resort is one of the oldest in the now commercialised Ranthambore. We had reached the resort post 10 PM. After checking in, we realised that we needed some items from a medical store. This is place where the shops close down by 9/9.30 PM. Given the sensitivity of our requirement, the resort team led by the amazing Management's Family members , took the great initiative to offer us a ride into the city to the nearest open medical store. Mind you, the store was 25 minutes away by car -so, they took the efforts to make us feel comfortable and secure. It is such gestures which you will never find at a chain hotel but only at incredibly- customer focused Resorts such as Tiger Machan . Please do visit this property - the Machans are beautiful, the food is good. The pool is alright sized. They arrange for tours / safaris as well.

I think this is more a 3.5 than a 4. We were a little unsure when we found out we had been allocated this hotel. However, we were happily surprised We were allocated one of the rooms. Not a tent. The room was a decent size. It was basic. No fridge or tea and coffee facilities. Drinking water provided. WiFi in reception only. We had all the meals included in our plan. The choice was limited, mainly vegetarian with 1 meat dish. 1 desert at each meal and 1 soup at the evening meal. All excellent quality and very tasty. I can recommend the rice pudding if it is available!! Breakfast is served later than usual. This is to accommodate the safari early starts. On the day we were leaving, we arranged an early breakfast, and the staff went above and beyond in their efforts!! The staff are brilliant, very friendly and helpful.

Loved this place! The owners seem to have thought of everything. Beautiful food prepared by a great chef and served by lovely staff , and the best part about the food is they have small vegetables garden which meets 30% of the supplies for the kitchen as per Mr Mithu who serves that for you . The tents are large enough for a king size bed, 2 chairs and table in balcony ( we opt for Luxury machan) , a med size bathroom area, big shower. Rooms are surrounded by lovely garden and huge trees which gives you such a rustic feeling of staying in wilderness. As it’s really easy to spot so many birds inside the property only , Easy to book safaris and safari vehicles picked us up either from front door of resort .Owner Ajay is lovely, really helpful, will takecare of your Safari bookings and when he says book for a min of 2, it’s worth it! . We saw and followed a tiger for 1 hr on our 2nd safari. We really enjoyed our stay and the food experience here.

Tiger Machan is one of the hotels closest to the main gate for zones 1-5. My stay at Machan was calm, nestled in nature, and homely. Enjoy beautiful rooms, wholesome food, and a lovely garden area, without breaking the bank. Very quiet, too. A dirt path leads to it from the main road but a canter or gypsy will pick you up for the safari so it shouldn't be an issue. Note that if you stay close to zones 1-5, you’ll be picked up last (around 6:30 a.m. for the morning safari and 3:30 p.m. for the afternoon safari in summer). While this is beneficial, you will also likely get the worst seats in the canter.
