WOW!!! a stunning hotel and staff were ever so nice and always willing to help with any request. We stayed at St Regis for three nights to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary after our stay in dubai. On our first afternoon we met Anurag Chola who took his time to inform of all the places we could go to see in Abu dhabi. instead of feeling we were talking to one of the hotel managers we felt like we were talking to a friend. He informed all the restaurants of our vegeterian dietary needs. The site has around Sontaya , Limone and Oleo restaurants. On our first night we went to Oleo and the Chef Lalitji came to see us to discuss our dietery needs and offered to make different meals for our stay. We felt we were really looked after by Laltiji and all the waiting staff. On our last day Lalitji surprised us with gujarati Khichdi and Potato and onion curry, which was to die for. Thank you Lalitji and team. Lastly would like to give a shot out for Ros and Anvar at the buddha Bar. The First night we went to Buddha bar i did not no what to expect from the drinks and Ros suggested i go for a Japanese Sake based drink instead of my usual Magarita . He was right , i really enjoyed it. Ros managed to get my wife a passion fruit cocktail even though it was on the menu. Anvar the manager came over to introduce himself and we end up talking about the uk as he studied in Bournemouth. The Second night ROs and Anvar surprised us with a cocktail that takes 24hrs to make with a tequila base and all i can say is WOW. Ros was not main our table that day and i called him over to thank him for his hospitality and knowledge of the cocktails. Again i asked for the impossible by asking him to make us singapore slings as my wife had never tasted it before and again on point. I had my first singapore sling at Raffles lounge bar in singapore for my 50th birthday and could not differentiate between the two. We would highly recommend St Regis Abu dhabi Saddiyat island with its crystal blue beach for making our 30th wedding anniversary stay so special. IF you want to visit UAE this is the place to be if you want tranquil time comparing with the hustle and bustle of Dubai. Until the next visit keep up the good work and we have truly made friends for life.

We’ve visited this hotel multiple times, and this was the first time we left disappointed. Much to our dismay, we discovered that there is no longer poolside food service. Although there is food service at the beach, no lounge chairs were available. Our only option was sitting poolside, then leave to eat at the adjacent Buddha Bar restaurant, which is an expensive, upscale option. The lunch service at the restaurant was slow. Sitting on the patio (we did not feel comfortable sitting inside an upscale restaurant in cover-ups and bathing suits), we were drenched in sweat by the time our meal was finished. Had there been poolside food service as in the past, we could have cooled off in the pool while waiting for our meal. We were floored that a five-star hotel like the St. Regis would offer food service to the beach but not to the pool. We had also made dinner reservations that evening at Buddha Bar but were not informed about a private party being held at the same time. The music was so loud (even after we moved inside) that we couldn’t carry on conversations. The flashing strobe lights were unbelievably annoying and gave one of our friends a migraine. Lastly, they had hired half-naked women to prance around in thong leotards. We come to Abu Dhabi (not Dubai) for a more family-friendly atmosphere; this was definitely not the dining experience we were hoping for. Had they informed us of the private party, we would have made plans to eat elsewhere. Overall, it was a very disappointing visit.

The hospitality and the service at the St Regis Saadiyat Island Resort is unparalleled. We stayed for seven nights as my company was having its global conference there. The rooms are thoughtfully and beautifully designed with premium toiletries. The butler service and free pressing is of course much appreciated. Sailesh was truly exceptional The service in the restaurants was truly amazing and surprisingly personal for a hotel this size. Lede and Gayathri at Olea greeted us unfailingly warmly every breakfast and the restaurant managerWasim was always at hand The Buddha Bar is constantly buzzing and has great cocktails and food Sontaya is fabulous for Asian food shout out to Nikhil for great service I would like to also mention Viktoria from Banquets who went the extra mile for us and Issam the front office manager who sweetly upgraded us Will definitely be back

One of the best beachresort at UAE. Very nice sandy beach. Lot of pools for families and adults. Nice very elegant rooms and amazing bathroom. Very good Breakfast buffet. Problem with birds and dirty seats at the terrace should be solved. Nice restaurant especially Sontaya and Buddha Bar. Very good gym facilities. The staff is very friendly except the reception staff.

Very opulent hotel. Rooms are spacious and the lobby is very grand. The butler service is a great touch. The butler will take care of all restaurant bookings, is on hand for queries, and will even run your bath for you before u get up to the room! The beach is the centrepiece though. It is stunning. As with most UAE hotels of this standard, the service is excellent in all departments. We went during Ramadan and the buffet restaurant was serving mainly Middle Eastern cuisine which got a bit boring, however the chef lalit and managers offered to make whatever we asked for. The Indian food in particular is fantastic. The Thai restaurant is also fantastic. Just a shame there aren’t more food options for vegetarians outside of the buffet and Thai. There was only one BIG let down. The pools were cold for most of our stay. The weather was windy and this was the reason but it was such a disappointment as you take a warm pool in the UAE as a given, especially at the prices being charged.
