Luxury - but with too many kids

A terrific place to stay. The cottages are bright and comfortable. The staff are friendly and helpful and the pool area is a dream. It would be even better if it were an adults only lodge. The screaming kids from other guests who let their kids do whatever they want gets a bit too much after a couple of days. This property is too nice for families with small children. Anyway, the restaurant is good and the location - a 5 minute drive to the gates of Nagarahole National Park. One thing that was an issue for me - hopefully they've sort it out, was the pre-payment. My debit card was constantly declined (not my fault) but must be a bug in their system - only accepting Indian card holders. They threatened to cancel my reservation if I didn't pay beforehand. It was very stressful. Luckily, at the last minute, they allowed me to pay on arrival. Anyway, all-in-all, a lovely spot!

We celebrated our Silver Jubilee Wedding Anniversary at our most favorite destination, Serai Kabini. We call it as our second home, as we have been visiting this from almost 15 years. Vishwa (resort manager) is our good friend for more than a decade and he and his team made sure we had a magical experience during our stay. A family get together of 20 members and catering all the needs of the elderly to kids was taken care with utmost care by Vishwa and his team. Our special thanks to Prabhakar in overseeing arrangements for food, family activities and any thing we needed at a short notice. Thanks to Byra the Boatman for the wonderful sunset boat drive and Krishnappa for the wonderful Nature walk. The food, party cakes, the high teas very yummy and satisfied the entire family! Everyone liked the accommodations and the hospitality. We thank Serai, Kabini for making our Anniversary special and memorable! Special Thanks to Chamaraj, the head Naturalist for meeting us, even with his busy schedule. Thanks Vishwa for making this a MAGICAL stay!

Excellent place for a vacation . Location is good and very near to jungle safari point. Excellent and very supportive staff. Resort is maintained very well. Facilities and amenities are good. View from room to kabini river was awesome, Must visit place for people who love nature.

A beautiful hotel in a beautiful location. The room was stunning, lovely shower, nice seating area outside the room. Food was great and reasonably priced. I was very well taken care of - sometimes the staff were a bit TOO attentive - it’s a peaceful place and you want to enjoy the peace, not be asked numerous times if you need anything!
