Yesterday, my team and I visited Ritz Carlton Bangalore with optimistic expectations for an enjoyable dining experience. As a passionate food blogger and traveller, I aimed to capture the essence of The Market restaurant to share with my audience. However, our anticipation swiftly turned to disappointment when we encountered a distressing instance of discrimination. Upon arrival, we were met with unwelcome treatment by Operations Manager Jocelyn Vaz, who assertively demanded that I cease recording with my camera and prohibited any form of video documentation. This encounter, marked by a sense of superiority and distrust, was witnessed by my entire team, leaving us feeling sidelined and disrespected. Despite my efforts to address this matter with Mr. Vaz directly, the incident had already tarnished our experience. Only through the intervention of Restaurant Manager Mr. Sunil Kumar did we receive acknowledgment of Mr. Vaz's inappropriate behaviour. While his apology was appreciated, it failed to rectify the profound sense of humiliation and disappointment we endured. This incident at Ritz Carlton has left us feeling like unwelcome outsiders, undeserving of equitable treatment. Regrettably, we must refrain from future patronage of Ritz Carlton, as our loyalty and financial investment deserve recognition, not discrimination. Having travelled extensively and experienced exceptional hospitality globally, including esteemed establishments such as Taj, Leela, The Oberoi, ITC, and Four Seasons, this instance of disrespect stands in stark contrast to the exemplary service I have received elsewhere. I am compelled to extend my appreciation to Miss Rajshree Buragohain for her efforts in accommodating our group and providing exceptional service. Thank you, Rajshree.

One of the best hotels in India. The rooms are big and very clean and the hotel has all the facilities. The whole staff is brilliant and professional (can match any world class hotel) especially, F&B and Front desk staff. The breakfast and dinner had amazing variety and never seen such a spread in any of India's hotels. Although all the staff deserve special praise but I would like to name Chef Murugesan and Surendra Singh for their brilliant attitude towards the customers as they always cater to their special needs with full enthusiasm. I would surely rate 10/10 for this property.

Some of the best service I have ever experienced at a hotel, period. Everyone at this hotel greets you by name, and says hello when they see you. The staff came to my room repeatedly to ask if there was anything I needed, and they even provided me with some complimentary gifts such as a box of chocolates, a set of hand embroidered handkerchiefs, and a beaded purse. This is top-class hospitality at every turn, and it made my stay incredibly memorable. The facilities are absolutely stunning. The spread at the breakfast buffet is phenomenal, I think there were 12 types of curries alone! The hydrotherapy rooms at the spa are complimentary and well maintained. I was the only person in the sauna around 9 pm on a Friday evening and it was a wonderful way to end my day. Riwaz, the northern Indian restaurant was delicious (order their trademark Daal!) and again the staff provided the utmost in hospitality and service. I would 1000% return to this hotel in a heartbeat. The beds were covered in 400 thread count Frette sheets and there were complimentary chocolates and pastries provided each day. Location wise, this is right in the heart of Bengaluru and there are numerous walking areas right next door. Last but not least shoutout to Sonya and Praveen on the housekeeping staff who provided wonderful service.

Just stayed at hotel 12-28 April. Probably the best service I’ve ever experienced at a hotel. Special mention to these great staff: - conscience Mr Punjab Singh. Arranged IPL tickets & many things for us - Rajesh Kumar at airport. When our transfer didn’t turn up, arranged a transfer. Then greeted us kerbside on return trip & helped us check in - Vivek Sharma, restaurant manager. An absolute pro. Did so many things for us each day with out us asking (ice for cricket training each day, advance orders, take away coffees). His staff were excellent, great food, so many great options made for you - the porters & transport staff - housekeeping: attended to everything at a moments notice - pool & gym staff - club lounge staff - the restaurant staff: Lantern was excellent. We are there 5 times! Well done, this is one of the best hotels in the world
