It’s a Ritz!

I’ll say that this was a very nice hotel! I had a very nice stay and would happily stay here again, especially given the lack of luxury hotels in the downtown/midtown area. Here are a few things that made the stay nice: -I received an upgrade to a room on a higher floor. The room is very clean and comfortable, and it was very well appointed with nice comfy bedding. -The cocktails I had at the lobby lounge were amazing. And some opportunity for improvement: -Very soft low quality pillows. -I ordered a charcuterie plate in the lobby lounge, and it wasn’t very good. A lot of low quality meat and cheese products. Service was also very slow. -Again with the food theme, I was not blown away by my room service breakfast. My order was incorrect and missing toast, and everything was very bland.

After a long day at my niece's athletic state event at East Jackson Comprehensive High School, my family and I were exhausted and not in the mood for a long drive back to Savannah, Georgia. We decided to find a nearby place to rest and stumbled upon the Ritz-Carlton Atlanta. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a warm and welcoming ambiance that instantly put us at ease. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making sure our tired selves were well taken care of. The highlight of our stay was definitely the steak restaurant, where we enjoyed a delicious and satisfying meal before retiring to our comfortable accommodations for the night. Overall, our experience at the Ritz-Carlton Atlanta was nothing short of excellent, providing us with the perfect respite after a busy day.

A 2 night stay in ATL at the Ritz was a trip I looked forward to. The staff truly put forward a top notch effort. There was always something complimentary to taste, eat, or drink in the lobby. We had a good meeting room with terrible WiFi bandwidth. The food at breaks was beautiful and seemingly endless in variety and volume. Lunch and breakfast buffets were imaginative and well prepared. The physical plant was tired albeit the fit and finish was top notch. All the woodwork in the guest rooms were worn, gouged and scuffed. Bathroom had a powerful shower and good hot water. Ice machines were not to be found. There was a nice large safe - good for laptops. Bed was comfortable. Room nice and dark... but even on the 11th floor sirens in the street can be heard.

Stayed here for one night and it was mediocre, definetly not "five star" as you would expect from the ritz. rooms are dated, lobby is average, it reminded me more of a Omni Hotel or maybe a nicer Hilton, but not worth over $500 per night. Perhaps they should rebrand this hotel.

1st let me say I expected more from a Ritz-Carlton. Now the food at AG was amazing. Staff at the front desk were wonderful. However, rooms need to be updated & the kicker, I got ate up by bedbugs. I reported it & after a "thorough" investigation by hotel & a 3rd party, no evidence of bedbugs were found in room 1503, yet the bites on my legs & feet prove otherwise. I will NEVER recommend this hotel.
