The price of this place was very very low. Room was small in size and somehow smelling something. Bathroom was just ok. The room were not sound proof. Only benefit is it is well located in heart of the city. Lots of eating place around this place. Good for short stay only.

First thing, its not a hotel. It's a bungalow, owned by a govt. official, who maybe is not in India anymore. There are 3 rooms at the found floor, maybe a few on the upper floor and a "Party Room" in basement. I booked with OYO rooms. Hoping to get WiFi, breakfast and good service. The hotel had the booking in place. I had booked it for 3 of us, so they should have arranged for extra bed already (which I had paid for) and thy hadn't. I asked them for it, the staff took 2hours to arrange a foldable bed. I asked them for a blanket as the one provided looked like its for a person who is 3feet tall. It was very bad. The AC was good but because of the frequent power cut, the voltage was down as the inverter couldn't take the load. (Maybe a low cost inverter). Then came the night which was very cold because of the AC. I had stayed with my cousins and none of them were able to sleep properly because they did not have a good blanket. It was too small. They had no Hot Water, even though the Geyser was installed in the washroom. In the morning, the breakfast was pathetic. The aloo parathas I ordered were more like salt parathas. They were too salty. They eventually did not give tea. Drinking water was a big problem. They one they had was only a normal MINERAL WATER bottle installed outside the room. And when I asked for cold water to drink, they gave me a refrigerated bottle which was full of dirt. You can imagine how disgusting it will look when you use a Mineral Water bottle cap on a Pepsi bottle! All in all, its not worth spending too much at this hotel. Apart from the bad food, bad staff, bad WiFi, bad AC, bad toiletries, it is OK. Not worth more than ₹900 per night.

Average stay in an average hotel. you cant expect much for the price they ask for. and given the hotel is located in a city void of many options it turns out to be a fair stay for 2-3 nights maximum..

Before your stay here, know that the Residency Inn is not a hotel; it's just a good-looking property, in a nice locality, masquerading as one. The two-storied bungalow is a charming construction, with a little window in the front and cane chairs and loungers scattered around to give it a homely feel. Although the receptionist and his helpers are very cooperative, it's clear they have had no training in the hospitality business -- the rooms aren't prepared before your arrival, the towel provided is dirty, and the bed linen is unclean. The rooms aren't even cleaned everyday unless you specifically ask them to do it. The menu choices are limited to vegetarian items, although the helpers will go out and get non-vegetarian food from a restaurant in the neighbourhood if you ask them to. It's an okay stay for a couple of days. I wouldn't be rushing back there again for sure.
