VARUNA Restauarnt is One of the Best place to have quality food & service in Varanasi. The new addition in menues are superb! The great team of Hopitality Who can anticipate your needs, Mr. Guru, Rashid, Margrete, and the Manager and the Manager AJAY drives his team in guest centric approached. He has better lissioning in city. Nice ambience with classical music.

The great: 1) Stepping into a Taj property is like stepping into the 1st class cabin of an airline. The welcome begins the moment you step out of the vehicle 2) Room: The room was immaculate and well lit. It wasn't as large as I expected it to be, but I really can't complain. Plus the attention to detail was what impressed me. 3) Service: Absolutely on point. Respectful without becoming servile. I wish I could say the same for the gateway hotels where my experience has been a mixed bag. 4) The property: Massive property right in the heart of Banaras with a garden that's literally like a nature reserve. It was one of the highlights of my stay. The not so great: 1) Breakfast: They need to definitely get the most important meal of the day right. Why do I say that? No citrus fruits served and no citrus juices either. The breakfast wasn't superlative. It just lacked imagination. No French Toast, no Hash browns, no Waffles, no Cheese platter. But then again, this is Varanasi, so I don't expect the same level of dining that I would expect from a Taj property in a metropolitan area. 2) The WiFi sucked....big time

A luxury experience, we stayed for three nights. At entrance Mr Bharat (security) welcome us in a traditional way, he also assist to explore Nadesar palace. Mr Piyush (sales) Sarita, prachi, Abhishek and Ram shran ji welcome us and escort to the room. Sonu and Anil from House keeping made my room very clean. Chef Kandpal, chef Manoj, chef choudhary and culinary team made my meal experience awesome. All the local flavours was so authentic. Mr Rakesh Mishra, Ratan,Ashish, punam, parichita, sombir took our meal preference very well. We wish to visit again soon.
