Taj Fisherman's Cove rests serenely along the shores of Covelong/Kovalam beach, in between Chennai and Mahabalipuram. A 1-1.5 hr drive from the Chennai airport brings you to this idyllic coastal retreat. I received a warm welcome from the staff with a refreshing drink and a garland of sea shells. There was some confusion regarding the payment which was promptly taken care of by the manager. The reception staff gave information about the resort's amenities and a buggy brought me to my cottage (Premier Cottage Garden View). The cottage had a modest size, but exuded coziness and had an outdoor rain shower. There was also a bathtub for those who prefer to take a bath indoors. Apart from that, there was also a sitting space outdoors. However, I'd like to point out that the cottage was showing signs of wear and tear, and is need of refurbishment. It was great taking a walk around the resort which was very well maintained with flowers all around. I got a photoshoot in the property organized by the resident photographer. The hotel provides access to the beach, lemonade is served on the beach during the evening. The beach was quiet. I also took a half day trip to Mahabalipuram, organised by the hotel travel desk. My package included breakfast and dinner, which was offered at the 'Sea Gull' restaurant. I loved their cheesecake! The meal offerings came in a generous portion size and met expectations also in terms of taste. I did not get the opportunity to try other restaurants. The staff also left a positive impression and I would be happy to come back someday!

Wonderful resorts with magnificent view on front of the gulf of Bengal, I have tried the Resturant bay view and it's really excellent choice for sea food lovers, highly recommend and you have to make a reservation a head of time to ensure having a table , nice weather and lovely life music

Two days stay at Taj Fishermen's Cove has given us a very pleasant memories that stays in our heart forever.This is due to the hospitality given by the Taj Helpdesk team especially Mr.Sankar who has taken care of us very much like a family member.Special thanks to him. I will surely recommend my friends to visit and enjoy the stay at Taj which we had.. Taj have very good swimming pool, beach volleyball, beach cricket etc to spend happy time there.Overall stay at Taj is like A Home Away From Our Home..

We visited last week and happy seeing the warm welcome and friendly hospitality throughout the entire trip. Special Mention to Mr.Sankar who is the manager there, housekeeping in rooms done by Manas and Venkat of banquets are very quick and always with a smiling face.
