long story behind this, in simple words hotel is not just bad even he has a large amount of fail commitment which he did it before. Never ever recommend this hotel to each one to stay here if any last wish, go out of there but never look into this pathetic hotel.

Let's face it, Siliguri is not the centre of the universe but a stopping off point for Darjeeling, Sikkim or Bhutan. There are a lot of hotels in the city and the Hotel Simla is one of many 2* or possibly 3*. The rooms are a reasonable size but they could be a bit cleaner and the hot water can be a bit of a problem. The service is a hit and miss with incorrect items usually being provided I.e. Masala omelette instead of boiled eggs. In terms of value for money it's OK but it could be a whole lot better if the staff took a real interest in their work.
