The hotel has clearly seen better days. Sorry to say but this is the worst Sheraton property I've stayed in, and I am a Bonvoy Titanium Elite member. While it is near a metro station, it is very far from the main circulation of Milan (Duomo). Breakfast is not good and there is only one lift for the entire hotel so I saw guests going up and down the stairs as waiting time is long. The worst part of my stay is my room's AC was not functioning and so they gave me an electric fan (!). I checked in late, 10 pm, but nobody cared all this time to check if the room was ready for a guest to stay in. Never coming back and will not be recommending the property to colleagues.

We spent three very pleasant nights, we had a double room with a terrace overlooking the inner garden. There was a very varied breakfast included and served by friendly and helpful staff. The reception staff were also friendly and professional and helped us on two occasions. Firstly, they provided us with a toothbrush that we had forgotten to bring and another day at the end of the afternoon, exhausted and without the strength to look for a restaurant for dinner, after a call a few minutes later we had a reservation in a place that was a great success. It has a lounge next to the garden where you can sit and relax away from the noise of the street. It also has a tram stop in front of the hotel so you can't leave Milan without trying it.

Hotel is steps from the M1 Porta Venezia metro station. The location is central to many great restaurants in the area. Service was excellent. The room was not ready quite ready for an early check in. The from desk employee kept an eye on the computer for the status and walk over to us sitting on side lobby chairs to give us the keys. The rooms were a bit dated due to the worn carpet. Otherwise, I’ve been to worse hotels before. We had an early flight back home and couldn’t make to breakfast buffet in the morning. We coordinated with employee in a pre-arrival email that we had an early flight and if any accommodations could be made. The front desk employee was able to arrange a take out breakfast bag for each of us to enjoy.

Good hotel but a little oldish. Hotel is well situated near shopping street, many restaurants around hotel, and close to Underground train. Service is good and personal friendly. A little complicated when you need to park your car and need to have it readily available.

First, I’m surprised at the negative reviews and complaints. Especially as it relates to the age of the building. For goodness sake, the building is probably 200 years old and is magnificent. Our experience was positive and I will provide my thoughts here. I’m usually tougher on hotels, much more so than restaurants, because I have lived over 7 years of my adult life on Marriotts or Hiltons. I have almost exactly 3.5 years in Marriott hotels (1,277 nights) so the chain is often my home away from home. I have top status with both brands and really expect my loyalty to be rewarded (bratty I know). We stayed 2 nights and used our “Suite Night Awards” for an upgrade so I don’t know if they would’ve upgraded us otherwise. I believe that they would have since the hotel was not sold out. Prior to arrival, we had been contacted by the hotel with any info we may need in Milan. I think I’m very good at determining who is friendly because their job requires it, and who is genuinely kind hearted and love what they do. Rose at the front desk, and Elisa and Richard in restaurant are the latter. They were very nice and made our stay very enjoyable. All were kind and helpful. We had a large, old room, but it was nice and historic. We loved it and have no complaints. The hotel is in a great spot for dining and shopping in Milan, a city that offered much more than we expected. Because of rain, we could not experience the gardens but the bar was nice. Drinks and food prices are high but it’s a hotel…..so expected. Breakfast was very well done and my family loved everything. From made to order cappuccinos and hot chocolate to fresh made eggs. Well done by all in the kitchen. I will leave my review here. We will definitely return again and stay at this hotel.
