Old, dusty, with mold. We paid $500 per night (graduation weekend) and received a room that is like a highway motel 6. Horrible. Also the room wasn’t ready and we could not check in until 05 pm on May 16. Stay away. Sheraton and Bonvoy should be really ashamed. See pictures.

This is not a 4 Star hotel. Dated/Dirty rooms, No restaurant as advertised.

Purchased Queen room with river view. Room was not available at check in (6pm). Offered $50 restaurant credit at check in only to find the restaurant was closed for renovations. Voucher was good for room service only. Tired/Dated room. Stained carpet & dirty curtains. Bathroom fixtures dated. Enamel from tub all worn away. Front desk manager acknowledged hotel is dated & needs updating but pushed all responsibility because I booked through 3rd Party. This is not a 4 Star Hotel in 2024, but continue to charge 4 Star prices due to location.

Old and surprisingly poorly kept, renovations very inconvenient and noisy

I am staying here for a conference, and was quite disappointed from the start. This place is desperately in need of renovation, so it's reasonable that they're renovating. However, it comes at extreme inconvenience to its patrons. I've been inspired to write this review because I am trying to work in my room and have zoom meetings coming up but am incredibly distracted by incessant LOUD drilling which seems to be coming from next door. There are no amenities available, including no restaurant, breakfast, lounge access, etc. which makes the expensive price of this hotel even less worth the price. The room and hotel is EXTREMELY tired. It's one thing to be an old hotel, and it's another to just leave everything to fall apart. I would recommend bringing slippers as the carpet and furniture are stained. I asked the hotel for slippers but they said they had ran out. The wallpaper is falling off, and the tub worn bare. There was a surprising lack of plugs and outlets in convenient places, I couldn't find enough for all my appliances and none convenient to the bed unless you unplugged the clock. The one caveat is that the location is really excellent. It's linked to the Prudential center, with tons of food options, which is super convenient.

Where to begin? At the beginning I suppose. Arrived via taxi to the Sheraton. No door man or greeting to be had. This is a very big hotel with loads of conference rooms and loads of people in and out. It is connected to The Prudential Center, so you have lots of people (guests and non guests) mulling around. They do have security measures so that only those with a room key can take the elevators to the rooms. The entry was basic and clearly marked that "a change is coming" - meaning they are renovating. In my opinion, they should have done this a long time ago and the fact that they still offer such dated gross rooms is a disgrace. Seriously, shut down for a few months to avoid disappointment and reviews like the one you are reading. Once inside the hotel, we got in line with about 8 other people waiting to get checked in. The receptionist was friendly. Our room was on the 19th floor. The receptionist told us there would be noise between 9-2 and that the restaurant was closed for renovation; however, room service was available. (I should have pulled the plug right there). Up we went to our room. Dated, dark, dank hallways abound. Our room was very small for two double beds, but it was the only reservation they had. A large screen television took up all counter space. A small "desk" area had an unplugged dated lamp on it and some type of goo on the surface. A random floor lamp was placed nearby. The bedside table was cluttered with a retro (to put it nicely) multi-charger and a clock of the same era; both were covered in dust. The coffee maker and makings sat on the window sill - where does one plug that in exactly? The floor was sticky. Still reading? Well, let's move to the bathroom. Good luck turning around in it. It was very small and again, very dated. A dirty small tub with gauges and peeling ceramic coating greeted us (by all means, see the photo). A large chunk of tile was gone. The plastic shower curtain was dirty. The toilet needed to be flushed twice to do its job. We went downstairs and spoke to the evening receptionist. I explained the above and offered to show photos (he declined). I asked if we could be moved to an updated room and was told there were none. He went in the back to get the manager but came out and said he was "busy". I told him we would be checking out two days prior to our reservation to go elsewhere. He apologized and said "okay, you can see the day manager in the morning". I asked him if there was somewhere we could get a bottle of water? I was told "no, the shop closes at 10, your best bet is to go across the street to the Hilton" - which we did and they kindly gave us four bottles of water in a bag even though we weren't staying there (but surprise surprise that's where we moved to). Oddly the lobby bathrooms also are locked at 10, so I guess best advice is try not to need anything after 10pm. The next morning (yes, we slept there, regrettably) I went to find the day manager but was told that they were in a meeting. I explained the situation and a lovely woman apologized and admitted that none of the rooms at the hotel had been renovated for more than 25 years. She confirmed that we would only be charged for the one evening and suggested that I leave my name for the manager to call regarding possibly getting reimbursed for the unacceptable room (which I did and imagine that, no one ever called me back). She suggested we come back in December when things would be renovated. There are numerous hotels in the area - many within walking distance to this one. Surprisingly, some of the better known hotel chains within eyesight of this hotel actually had rooms that were cheaper and updated. They had a functioning restaurant, bottles of water at request (because they kept them behind the reception desk) and kind staff. The staff at this hotel are pretty good and thankfully, some of them were blatantly honest. I am not the first, nor will I be the last, to come to them with my eyes like saucers asking "are you kidding me?" So, if you are staying anywhere near the Prudential Center, I would steer you away from The Sheraton. I dont need a fancy room, but I do need a clean one with moderately updated appointments. For over $450 a night (yep, that's the truth and it wasn't even the weekend) this place is a joke and the joke was on me. Care to respond management?

Do not recommend as a Marriott Bonvoy Titanium elite. Since lounge and restaurant is closed, the front desk promised at check in that 1000 bonus points will be offered per night for compensation. We stayed for 2 nights so there should be 2000 points as compensation. When checking out, I confirmed once again with the front desk, and she said it will be posted after a few days. Nothing after a week, so I called the hotel, and the agent acknowledged the missing points and promised that will handle that asap. Another week now, still nothing. Would not recommend as a Bonvoy Elite because basically you get no breakfast, lounge nor points. However, the hotel is in a pretty central location closed to shopping malls and downtown attractions. Convenient access to the Green line too if you want to explore the city.
