You'll be looking at the reviews and wondering if the 5* rating is fake. We did too. Very rarely does somewhere get consistently high ratings without any influenced request. This hotel is different...very different. It was that good we extended our stay for a further 6 nights. Set a few metres from Candolims beach road you'll find the Seashell, and first impressions are very good. Staff are quick to take your luggage and entry into the reception area gives the feeling of luxury, especially with a £15,000 imported chandelier dangling from above. The staff are what make this hotel as good as it is and all details have been thought of. Infact there are over 130 staff ready to tend to your every need day and night. We can't possibly name them all but you'll understand when you stay. We stayed in a suite on the 2nd floor which was a big room and kept immaculate by housekeeping each day. 2 x 1 litre bottles of water were delivered each day and an ample size fridge was ideal to keep them chilled in a very hot Goa. Shower pressure was probably the best we have experienced anywhere in the world, so please don't worry if you are used to the normal feeble Indian water pressure. It's like a power hose. Villas are very well laid out and perfect for families. We were actually jealous we didn't book one but the space would have been wasted on us. 3 pools meant plenty of space for everyone, although sunbeds by the main pool were sometimes difficult to get and a lot of the guests reserved these from early morning. Pool towels are placed on the sunbeds for use by guests so you won't need one. Rooftop cocktails on an evening are hand made, of good quality and very reasonably priced for this type of hotel. Small bottles of Tuborg or Kingfisher are 100rs + GST. Food wise every item we had was of good quality and the chefs (including Chef Nitin) do a remarkable job of being consistent on presentation and flavour. Breakfast has lots of choice and has probably the most amount of options we've seen in any hotel worldwide. If you want to pay for it then it's 600rs per person plus GST...which at the time of writing is 18%. Definitely worth it and I'm usually a true tight Yorkshireman. The directors are always present at breakfast time and mingle with the guests which is great to see. We've actually filmed this hotel for our YouTube channel Parks Travel Guide as we loved it that much, which gives a full rundown on it so if you'd rather see it then give it a search. A couple of cons for us of what we would like to see in the future...and believe us we had to look hard. 1. Firmer pillows if requested. The pillows are very soft and I often had to use towels to firm them up a bit. 2. A proper pool bar. Transforming the space into a walk up pool bar to avoid staff having to keep running to the restaurant. Service was often slow so this would speed it up. An easy adaptation given the space available. That's about it. We couldn't really find anything to grumble about. If this review has helped you then please give it a helpful vote at the bottom. My wife and I had an extremely enjoyable 10 night stay at Seashell in a very spacious Junior Suite. The first thing that strikes you on arrival is the friendliness and helpfulness of all staff -they could not have done more to help us. Such hospitality stayed with us throughout our stay whether it be the doormen, the gardeners, the reception staff, the cleaning staff, the restaurant staff (Sandesh and Chongpi were particularly helpful) and chefs (Nitin was absolutely brilliant), together with a daily visit at breakfast time by the owner and his son and managers. The room was extremely large and had a large twin settee living area and an extremely comfortable double bed. The room was immaculately clean and well serviced daily by Manmathi. The breakfasts were delicious with a wide choice of cuisines and mostly we ate dinner in the restaurant and sampled most of the Goan dishes which were delicious and extremely good value for money. We also took advantage of the pre ordered fresh fish and enjoyed a massive red snapper cooked to perfection. The gardens were spacious and immaculately well kept and the three pools were clean and well maintained. At the time of our stay (9th to 19th April) the pools were not busy and it was easy for us to find a sunbed in the shade. Overall we had a fantastic stay and hope to return one day.

This is without question the perfect hotel in Candolim North Goa. The whole experience from start to finish was exceptional. The entire team of staff are friendly, polite, and cannot do enough to ensure all needs are catered for. The twin room was spacious, clean and suited our needs. The breakfast is a must with a generous selection of items to choose from. The pools are great, as is the gym. The location is close to the beach and all amenities. Thank you to Seashell Suites and Villas for a pleasant and memorable vacation. We'll certainly be returning at some point hopefully in the not to distant future.

There was quite literally nothing we could fault with our stay here. We are lucky to have been able to travel and have rarely felt as well looked after as we did staying here. Every member of staff is friendly, polite and professional from the doormen to the managers, who all stopped to chat. The breakfast offering was phenomenal! There was a full buffet (hot and cold) and a huge selection of items available to order - all included in the standard breakfast. We even had suggestions from the manager and chef on what to try. We highly recommend the chicken pies, dosas, banana pancakes and omelettes. We stayed in the main hotel here but are aware that they also have villas. Our room was large with two sofas and an incredibly comfy bed. Plenty of storage, a good fridge, two TVs and an easy-to-use safe. We were also left two large bottles of water a day. The bathroom was large with a walk-in shower and toiletries were replenished as often as needed. Our room was absolutely immaculate throughout our entire stay. The entire hotel site was beautiful including the pools with a plentiful supply of clean pool towels and parasols and just a short walk to the beach and many restaurants. They also have a lovely rooftop bar to catch the sunset from. We would go back in a shot. There are few hotels that could meet this level of all-round service.
