Our room was ready early and we were very grateful to be able to access it at 8.15am after a long and sleepless flight. The staff were lovely. We stayed 3 nights on the 19th floor. Fantastic central location. We were part of a large group beginning a Canadian Rockies tour. However, renovations were in progress and our room was yet to be done, though the floor above us obviously had some action by the construction noises (business hours only). On the first afternoon (Thursday) our toilet stopped flushing. This was remedied quickly with no further problems. On the second afternoon (Friday) the hot water disappeared for all rooms above the 10th floor. So when everyone met Saturday morning in the foyer, very few had had a hot shower. The hot water returned Saturday late afternoon. Thankfully we were all happily checked out Sunday morning with no further issues. This would've been a great accommodation in this perfect location if not for the problems/issues with the renovation/construction. Our room was old, stained and tired awaiting its turn for update.

Not worth the stay.

We stayed one night during the week in early May 2024. Things we experienced: 1. The front desk refusing to inform a guest whether or not she could drink tap water. 2. Upon entry into an elevator, was informed by a guest that they had cockroaches and bed bugs in their room and had to switch rooms. 3. There was no toilet paper in our room and was informed we had to go to the desk to get some. 4. Expect wait times of 10 to 15 minutes for the elevator. Paying over $400 a night for a room and this is the experience we received.

This hotel is centrally located near shops, restaurants etc. We did have an issue with the water pressure in the bathroom and did take a couple of days before someone came to have a look but couldn’t fix it so we had to move rooms. Some staff were friendly. Overall a good stay.

To start off this is a great location. The room I got was not the one I saw in the photos when booking. - On the first day we didn't have hot water from 10 PM to after 11AM the next day. - The bathtub drain was very rusty. - No door on the entryway closet. - The air conditioning unit was super noisy. - The kitchen sink water pressure was poor. - We asked for batteries for the remote nobody ever showed up so used the bedroom remote. - The desk chair couldn't be adjusted in anyway so you were sitting too close to the floor. - The desk was detached and slanted toward the wall. - On our last day we didn't have any water from 11AM to 6PM. - Plus, they are always renovating so workers can crowd the elevator at times. Why didn't we ask to moved? My wife doesn't like to complain. She didn't want to complain when we checked out but I did. We got a small reduction. I have to reconsider staying here again as this location is convenient for us. . This is two times in a row I have gotten a pre-renovation room. The Sonder across the street has completed all renos. That appears to be an option.

Just departed after two nights of stay in this hotel as part of an organized tour. It’s a suite style hotel with a bedroom and lounge. In other words it’s a one bedroom unit. Location is central with lots of cheap eats nearby. Plenty of options to suit different taste buds. Room is spacious. Kitchen is in the suite with stoves so you can cook your own meal. Even a washing machine is provided inside the room. Yes inside your own suite. How convenient! Balcony view is great which faces downtown Vancouver and Burrard Inlet. Building isn’t ultra modern but still well functioned. Room is clean and service is great. Only problem is that the hot water isn’t hot enough by my standard. But it does the job I guess. Overall it’s a good establishment. Definitely very comfortable.
