In all honesty, I was a bit disappointed with this hotel. The rooms look tired and the dark wood furniture & floors are dated. I booked a premium sea view room and whilst we had a partial sea view, it was half obstructed by a building in front of our balcony. Housekeeping seemed fairly non existent - after 2 days I had to request that our room be cleaned and we have replacement towels as housekeeping hadn't serviced our room. We stayed for 5 nights but never had our bed linen changed and the bed was made terribly. Just not the level of service you expect at a 5* hotel. We didn't particularly enjoy the food, unfortunately, and it was more or less the same things every day for lunch and dinner. We did enjoy the Italian restaurant but the steak one was rubbish. The staff are very friendly, helpful & efficient.

Perfect 4 days with my daughter for our birthdays. Reception were very helpful when we arrived at 6am and gave us a complimentary room to get a few hours sleep and shower before moving us to our room for our stay at the check in time of 3pm. We received cake, bubbles, happy birthday decs and a beautiful bouquet of flowers upon entering. We had a lovely room with sea view and did not find it noisy on level 4. The steak restaurant was outstanding. The buffet for breakfast and Bodrum for lunch were good. All staff we met were very friendly, helpful and efficient. You also get free access to Atlantis waterpark which unfortunately we had not realised and had purchased tickets before leaving the UK. We did take advantage of the free shuttle bus to the waterpark and back though. Bar1 staff were also amazing and on my daughter’s birthday provided cake and made a fuss of her which was lovely. Jet ski-ing was also very good you are taken by boat to where you can do motorised water sports and once finished we just had a 30 minute wait to be collected but was given water and chairs whilst we waited. All in all we had an amazing 4 days and look forward to returning in October.

The hotel was bad, however the employees were very polite and friendly. Especially, I would like to emphasize the employee Eclas. he literally saved us from a taxi driver who wanted to cheat us for money, but thanks to Eclas we were left with money and in a good mood.

This was the first time we have gone away with our kids, who are 4 and 7 to an all-inclusive hotel. The only problem with this hotel - is that it was so brilliant - I will find it hard to be happy going anywhere else. It was worth every penny. I didn't sit down for a moment beside the pool as there were so many fun things to do. The hotel, the staff, the kids club and the room was stunning. The restaurants were great. Not fine dining, but very very high quality and fresh grills for lunch or dinner if you want freshly cooked meals. Jurabek & Saika who helped us as the holiday assistants were brilliant - helping with everything from restaurant bookings, transfers and helping us find lost items from around the hotel. They were amazing. I can't recommend this hotel enough if you have family with kids under 10. When, I can only dream.. can I go back ??????????????????..............

Dear Rixos Team, I am writing to share some feedback from our recent stay at your hotel, with the aim of contributing to the high standards expected of a five-star resort and ensuring future guests enjoy their experiences. Positives: - Arrival and Reception: We were very pleased with the warm reception we received upon our late arrival. The complimentary meal and the personal escort to our room were highly appreciated. - A La Carte Restaurants: The dining experiences at both the Steak and Italian restaurants were very good, marked by high-quality food and service. - Staff Responsiveness: I would like to commend Shanker for his consistently excellent service by the pool, and Shady from Guest Relations for the prompt offer of a room change, which, although we did not accept, was greatly appreciated. Areas for Improvement: - Room Maintenance: The room exhibited signs of wear and tear. A non-functional light fixture and the delayed response in resolving this issue were particularly disappointing. There were occasions when our calls to reception went unanswered. - Housekeeping: The cleaning times were inconveniently late, and the lack of a standard turn-down service was surprising for a five-star establishment. It appeared as though this service was deliberately omitted to reduce workload. - Pool Area: The service was generally good; however, inconsistencies in staff attendance marred our experience. Clearer communication about the removal of items from sunbeds and towel procedures would help alleviate guest frustration. Furthermore, it seems inappropriate that guests must collect and carry towels to the pool area themselves—a service which could be managed by staff to enhance guest comfort. - Buffet Restaurants: The buffet dining at A La Turca was average and offered limited daily variety. More concerning was the unsanitary handling of raw food by guests when taking food to the external grill area, posing a significant health risk. It also seemed that the buffet primarily catered to Eastern/Russian cuisines—could this be the case? Additionally, the cleanliness of restrooms near the buffet area requires more frequent attention. Turquoise also offered same style of cuisine along with a very limited daily menu change - We quickly became bored of the food. Also note this restaurant was very hot and the A/C appeared not to work correctly during our stay which made it very uncomfortable. - Bodrum Restaurant: The limited menu and subpar quality of the food were disappointing. The lack of variety could quickly lead to dining fatigue for guests frequenting this restaurant. - Entertainment: The evening entertainment could benefit from greater diversity and enhancement in quality. - Cleanliness: The overall cleanliness of the restrooms, especially near the main pool and restaurants, did not meet our expectations for a five-star hotel. These areas appeared to be neglected longer than one would expect, unlike the consistently well-maintained restrooms at Rixos Saadiyat Island. Comparison with Rixos Saadiyat Island: Our positive experiences at Rixos Saadiyat Island highlighted notable discrepancies in service levels between the two properties. Conclusion: I appreciate that maintaining consistent five-star service can be challenging and hope this feedback is received as constructive. Addressing these issues would significantly improve the overall guest experience at your hotel. Our aim is to support the Rixos team in upholding the exceptional standards your brand represents. Thank you for considering these observations.
