Ripple Resort in Port Blair is around one hour drive from the Veer Savarkar International Airport (Port Blair). The resort is at a walking distance from the Ross Island, one of the most visited tourist destinations in Andaman. The resort has single storey houses with a lawn area at the centre appropriate for evening gatherings and snacks with family. The rooms are well furnished, fitted with ACs, TVs, double bed accommodation and enough space for an extra mattress i.e., room for three people. Bathrooms have geysers and basic utilities and toiletries. Room service is done on all days provided one needs to leave the key at the reception desk. The resort also has an in-house restaurant (air conditioned) with seating for around 10 to 12 people at one go and serves good quality and hygienic food. They also serve excellent sea food like crab, prawn and pomfret, the order for which has to be given keeping enough time on hands. Overall, the stay at The Ripple Resort was a pleasant and memorable one.

The rooms are pretty small for its branding itself as a resort and it actually feels crumbled. The property seems to cater majorly to group bookings. So if you are an sleeper then be prepared for loud conversations late into the night outside your room. The big plus is for its location which is calm and serene. If your needs are simple, it's a good place to spend a few days. But if you are a person who thinks that you can combine leisure with work, then be warned that free wifi is limited to a few hours every day. And that free wifi never worked inside the room anyways. I personally had to encounter a rude behaviour from one of the staff on night duty when I went to ask him for a blanket, asking me why I am asking him for one so late at night inspite of checking in the noon ( Though we were two of us sharing the room, there was only one kept in the room and which I realized only while going to bed ), that apart the other staff was friendly and helpful. The hot water that you get is via a small insta gyser. The food was very good and tasty. Good option for a budgeted stay away from the main market area.

This resort is located in a serene area and has calm and pleasant surroundings. The colourful cottages are attractive with good arrangements and neat and clean. Employees are well mannered as well as co-operative. It has a restaurant that serves quality food. This is a great place to stay in the lap of nature.
