I was a little apprehensive because the hotel description mentioned construction, but it turned out to be very tidy and minimally noticeable carpet replacement on the first floor. Our room was quiet, CLEAN and spacious. The staff were all very courteous and helpful (thank you for that restaurant list - our lunch was delicious). Overall, the best hotel stay we have had in the area.

We stayed for only 1 night and I would never stay here again. The room smelled horribly, the bathroom shower had caked soap on the shower walls. I guess cleaning the walls is not part of their routine. The fan in the bathroom ceiling had so much dust hanging down from it that I thought when blower turned on the dust would come flying off. I felt the whole suite was dirty and very dreary. Breakfast on the weekdays ends at 9 which is a little early when you are staying at a hotel. If we had booked another night I would have changed hotels. Very disappointed in Marriott.

Avoid room 326. It’s on the side of the building. I didn’t get any sleep. Every 2 hours I was woken up by train noise / whistle /horn. I sleep with a noise machine, so it’s not like I need to sleep in complete silence. Actually I can’t sleep in complete silence. But this was crazy. Total my cousin Vinny movie scene was all I could think. Everything was fine. Checked in from my phone, went straight to room. Room is nice. Just can’t get past the train noise. I was only here for 1 night. If I had booked a longer stay, I would request a room change. Also, they want to charge $4 for a bottle of water in room. Just seems tacky. This isn’t Vegas. This is Kingston NY. Charge $4 more for the room, and give me the water.

We always stay at a Marriott hotel when we can. As a titanium level guest we were given a suite which was spacious and very clean. The staff at the Hotel is great and very knowledgeable and accommodating. Breakfast was very good very varied and plentiful and the staff were friendly and helpful. We had one problem and that was guests across the hall who partied loudly all night. We had to call down to the desk as did our friends who were next door. The staff took care of the problem but the guests didn’t adhere to being told to stop. We addressed this with the manager in the morning who graciously refunded the night to us. The next night was quiet and no issues as the hotel itself was quiet on a Sunday night. Would absolutely stay there again.

While attending a wool festival in Rhinebeck,NY, my daughter and I spent a night at Marriott’s Residence Inn in Kingston. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our suite was very clean and spacious. After a long day, we appreciated the well appointed bathroom. The king size bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was surprisingly good with hot food, pastry, fruits, cereals, and “real” plates. Our room’s large windows faced a wonderful view of the fall foliage and spectacular sunrise. We would definitely stay here again.
