Roaches galore! The hotel lacks in cleanliness. Every day, I killed a minimum of 4 roaches in my room. The hotel is outdated, the rooms smell musty, and everything looks dated. The breakfast selection was tolerable, the offered Belgian Waffles were nowhere to be found. Accessing the hotel is a wee bit complicated. I’m very much doubt that I will ever return. It’s hard to believe that this hotel is part of the Bon Voy family.

I'm really surprised by the bad reviews for this place because my family stayed here this summer and had an excellent time! We booked over 20 rooms and sure, there will be problems here and there at any place, even our own homes, but the staff accommodated us well and with courtesy, so what else can you ask? The facility was clean and offered many conveniences, like exercise room and laundry rooms, and a poolside bbq area!The breakfast menu and service was excellent, and the rooms were comfortable and affordable, especially because the kitchenettes allowed families to save money by fixing their other meals. I'd certainly come back (just not in July in hot and humid Houston, lol)!

I AM IN LOVE WITH THIS PROPERTY. IVE BEEN HERE 3 TIMES THIS SUMMER. It’s THE STAFF FOR ME! They are so warm and welcoming. T IN KITCHEN IS AMAZING. JAMES ON EVENINGS IS THE BEST! And JONQUIL took the best care of me and upgraded me to a suite due to minor issues not worth mentioning! THIS IS MY HOME AWAY FROM HOME ALWAYS. It an old property BUT FULL OF LOVE! We booked this hotel via the Bonvoy app without even reading the reviews. We assumed it’s nice like any Marriott Residence Inn we stayed at. But we were shocked to see this place. I had to verify the address and the email confirmation to make sure it’s the correct hotel we booked. This place looks like a Motel in the ghetto area. It’s very outdated and felt sketchy. We had to change hotels the next day because it felt very uncomfortable to stay at this hotel. It’s obvious that this was either an old apartment or a motel at one point. Marriott should have renovated this place before they rebranded it as residence inn. Very disappointed with this hotel.

1 hour from checking in we started having issues with our room. First, the air conditioner went out and the room was over 80 degrees and then the range went out. The property offered to move us in a 1 bedroom suite (from a 2 bedroom suite). When they did this the gentleman at the front desk process some refunds. He promised 200 but after 2 weeks I notice nothing came back. When I reach out to the property they said that they will refund 58 big difference. Old, dated falling apart unit. Others had issues too.
