The property is barely satisfactory once located. The signage outside the hotel is severely lacking, causing considerable difficulty in finding it, especially after a long flight. Surrounding hotels such as the Radisson, the Standhold, and Leopold are clearly marked, while this establishment's signage is inadequate, consisting only of faded flags, a large blue decked off construction area of the property only consists of names of the construction teams and other sponsors, but makes no mention of the Renaissance name whatsoever. The absence of a prominent identifier like a large white "R" on the roof or clear indication above the entrance further worsening the issue. Despite recent remodeling efforts, the hotel maintains a generic appearance reminiscent of a worn-out 90s apartment building. For example, the renovations did not extend to the functional aspects of the rooms, which lack sufficient power outlets and USB plugs. The bathroom features outdated shower/bath combinations instead of modern spa-like showers. Additionally, the absence of a welcome amenity or letter from the GM was noted. After check-in cleanliness issues were immediately apparent, including a dead fly and wasp near the window, a piece of dirty paper under the bed, and a discoloured toilet seat. Although these concerns were reported to the receptionist, the lack of proactive action to address them, I declined an offer for a glass of wine in the lobby due to the hotel's apparent cleaning issues. After waiting for a response that never came, I decided to check out after only three hours and requested a refund of spent points from the Duty Manager. The lack of follow-up and proactive solutions to the issues encountered during my brief stay left an unimpressive impression, and I would not return.

Great location but the smoke smell from the heat vent. As if the cleaning staff is smoking near the ventilation system. If I turn off the heat, the smell dissipates. I mention this to the front desk and they simply said you are not allowed to smoke in your room. Other guest overheard me and said they have similar smell in their bathroom. I will avoid this hotel during my next trip to Brussels.

Beautiful property and really enjoyed the executive suite we were upgraded to as platinum members. Club lounge was fun in the evenings for wine and beer and breakfast in the restaurant was delicious. Great location near Luxembourg train station and an easy walk to grand place.

From the (4 to 9 Fep 2024) It is worth mentioning that all the staff members at the hotel are very professional and kind, I would like to extend my gratitude to Miss. Anissa Oukdim (reception front office), I was amazed at the commendable service provided at your hotel by very highly trained professional staff for taking extra care of our needs and showing us around the hotel, She also goes an extra mile in providing best of service to every individual guest at the hotel property assisting and helping them every way possible, she is one of the assets for your hotel. Moreover, your staff at the reception was very polite and professional in check-ins and check-outs without any delays, I was amazed at the proficiency at your restaurant Miss. A good choice for a short Family Week-end in Brussels

A short weekend in Brussels. In addition to the well-known standard of the Renaissance chain, we chose this hotel because it had a swimming pool (always a big plus for the children on city holidays), and the location was also very good. Well, the water temperature in the swimming pool was unfortunately a bit cold, but I still don't want to complain with this comment. Our family room was almost the size of an apartment, and at a very reasonable price for a hotel of this category in a big city. All installations and services were of a very good standard and solid, and the morning breakfast was very rich. Overall, a very good choice, we would definitely return here.
