Stay away, this hotel lacks cleanliness in a big way right from the restroom in the lobby. Only down hill from there, room not very clean, hallways were deplorable with dirt, someone should sweep and wash the floors. The shower was lacking in water pressure. . Breakfast area in the morning unkept as well, I didn’t eat. No thank you. Pool and surrounding outside area is nice but again dirty. Tables and chairs need to be washed. People smoking in posted non smoking areas. In smoking area ashtrays over flowing. All in all this place is a disgusting mess. Shuttle to the cruise port was over a 45 minutes late. I could go on but I won’t.

I stayed at the RedRoof Inn because I had a long layover and did not want to bum around the airport. It was one of the cheaper options and it was close to the airport. Taking an Uber from arrivals was easy since the wifi extends all the way to the pickup area. Beware that depending on the time the surcharges can be double or more. CHECK IN I arrived just before midnight and was happy to see a fully staffed front desk. The front desk was very nice and answered all my questions. The food truck was still in service when I arrived but I didn’t try it. ROOM 411 I had Room 411, it was sufficient for my needs. Plenty of towels. I didn’t find the shower very hot or strong. I had it on max. They have all of the toiletries such as soap in dispensers. The room was basic, what you would expect at a motel. Cleanliness was average. When I arrived the AC was blasting and I had to turn it off. I could hear the planes overhead but it really wasn’t an issue. Soundproofing is not great, but it’s due to inconsiderate guests who were screaming and yelling at 2am. BREAKFAST The breakfast was a little disappointing. There was no eggs or any kind of deli items. It had plenty of bread, muffins, some sort of cake (actually pretty good), bananas, cereal and a make your own waffle bar. The coffee was decent and they had water to fill your bottle. I enjoyed eating on the patio. AIRPORT SHUTTLE I didn’t want to wait for the shuttle when I arrived so I only took it going to the airport. You don’t need to sign up, just wait at the lobby and the driver will say airport when he’s ready to go. It was efficient and fast. Overall, my stay was fine. I could have been a little better, yes but I also didn’t pay as much compared to the other hotels nearby. Certainly fine for an overnight before catching a flight the next day. Wouldn’t stay more than a night through.

I'm not sure what happened based on the other reviews, but this hotel was terrible. On the first day, we waited for the airport shuttle for an hour and a half. We called the desk and they told us to "just wait". When it did come around, it drove right past us. Empty. We took a cab. We had booked king rooms. We were given double beds and told the kings were gone. So much for reservations. After a great cruise, we came back. With reservations, of course, for premium king rooms. I talked to the desk attendant twice, ensuring the king rooms were available. At chech in, surprise, no kings available. Double beds again. The hotel overall is dingy. The toilet in my sister's room didn't work. Stay away from the 5th floor. Very loud, and the air conditioners are set to off or arctic. I know the website is tempting, but think twice. Everything here is bait and switch or lipstick on a pig.

On the plus side, the room was clean and it is close to the airport and the hotel offers a free shuttle. On the negative side, I paid more with booking than their published rate. THAT is just wrong. There are no restaurants nearby whatsoever. They have 2 roach coaches parked outside that sell hot food. NOT interested. I feel I was overcharged (because I was).

We stayed here for one night on a layover. I would never stay here again. The room was not very clean. I killed multiple cockroaches and bugs through our stay….. The room smelled old and musty. There was paint peeling off walls etc. There was garbage and stains in the hallway walking to the room. Overall it was not a great stay and lacks overall cleanliness! I will give a shout-out out to the lady who checked us in as she was very friendly and helpful! I was too tired upon checkin to get her name!
