Avoid.. Avoid..Avoid..!!! I stayed for 2 just nights 6th & 7th Dec 2020, this is the worst stay of my life for 2 nights. I request for Roadside View room while booking request. The manager was too rude behavior, just 2 rooms were occupied in the entire property but he hasn't given the room of my choice. 1st they give me Room no. 204 which was having an electrical problem then they change to Room No. 206 in that there was no hand shower or tab then again changed to Room no. 208 No presser for bath shower it's like drip for heart patients and then last Room no. 314 there was not the set-top box for TV. Then I shift to another hotel in Church Street, Bangalore. These 2 days my Horrible stay, just for 2 nights hotel management change my room 4 times.

A big disappointment

The brand Ramanshree has been well known for quite some time, have known it from my early days in Bangalore in the late nineties. So, chose this facility for my business visit this time, with a lot of expectations......however, the experience was pretty far removed. Starting from the beginning...there was a slight change in my travel plan due to which I was to arrive at the facility late at night, instead of the usual afternoon. I tried contacting the hotel directly and through OYO customer care, but they were not reachable (either the phone didn't ring or they didn't answer). When I arrived at the property, I was checked in, but instead to someone ushering me to my room, I was just handed the key and told the room number. The room was small with old and stained furniture, the bathroom was dimly lit, no hand towel nor hand wash, and no drinking water. And to top it all, the intercom didn't work. So, had to walk down to the reception to ask for drinking water and complain about the intercom. After some time, the bell boy came with a bottle of water but no glass. On mentioning that he was a little surprised that there was no glass in the room, but nevertheless got me one. The biggest disappointment awaited the next morning in the form of breakfast. Went down to reception at around 8am to inquire and came to understand that the breakfast was served in the room and the items were predetermined by the hotel and not as per the guest's requirement. The 4 days that I stayed, I was served 2 small dosas and 1 idli on 3 days, and half aloo paratha and 1 idli on the remaining day, no tea / coffee (the room didn't have any kettle and/or tea/coffee facility either). I had checked the review on TA before booking and was pretty convinced about the hotel and its services. But now, after my experience, I wonder where I went wrong. There was a time when I used to blindly book OYO branded hotels. Lately, my experiences and others' feedbacks on OYO, have started me thinking otherwise. I hope a day will not come when I start avoiding the OYO brand altogether.

My second time in Bangalore, friend had recommended the hotel, was totally worth it!! Stay was good, the food was awesome💓 Front office department Mr.Akash helped me alot in the stay. Next time I'm coming back here, would love to stay here again.
