Stayed at the Leonardo hotel Rembrandt Park for 2 nights and had a wonderful stay, the location is great - quiet, peaceful and away from the hustle and bustle of the centre but close enough to get to the centre in about 15/20 mins. Tram stop was 5/6 walk from hotel which was ideal. The hotel is surrounded by luscious greenery and trees as well as Rembrandt Park which is lovely for a walk/cycle. The staff on reception were really friendly and available 24/7. Our room was lovely - very modern looking. We were kindly upgraded to a queen size bed which was really comfortable and the room in general was very spacious and roomy - lots of storage and nice clean bathroom. There was also a streaming television available which was good as we were able to access streaming services such as Netflix/Youtube etc. The hotel has a “request for a room clean” service which means you need to make a request via a QR code if you would like your room cleaned/towels changed etc. As our stay was very short and we barely used the room during the daytime due to being out we didn’t request this service but the concept is good as it’s more eco friendly and less wasteful. Overall, the hotel has good facilities with nice helpful staff. All the guests we bumped into in lifts etc were friendly which generally added to the “all round good vibes”. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back to this hotel again if we are ever in Amsterdam. Highly recommended.

Always chose this hotel due to location and value for money . Stayed here over 5/6 times. Use to be a free shuttle service to the hotel and pay on return. This has now changed and we were not informed. Quilt cover was dirty on arrival , scanning the code for cleaning never worked . Tea /coffee and towels not replaced due to no cleaning. Informed reception again nothing happened. Arthur agreed for a refund however without checking the money was taken again and I still haven’t received the refund even though I have e mailed several occasions. I think this will be our last visit to the hotel and need to find a new “favourite” .

We booked a deluxe room for a 4 night, 5 day stay. The hotel do a airport shuttle service, we didn't know about it till we arrived at hotel, but handy to know and we used to return to airport on last day. From the outside the hotel looks like an office block, it nearly put me off booking, but inside is lovely with good facilities. Also you are right in Rembrandtpark, which is a bonus! It has lovely areas to go sit, and also a small petting zoo opposite the hotel. Our room was comfy, enough space and a great view from the sitting area at the window, we were delighted with the view, it was amazing both during the day then at night. Bed was super comfy and hotel had everything we needed. Coffee machine in room, however we just went to reception and bought tea/coffee when we wanted one or went upto floor 17 and had drinks/cocktails and a delicious meal. Didn't make it up for breakfast 🙈 just walk across the park and there is a wide variety of places you can get food and drinks. We didn't hear a peep when we were in our room. Not a sound it was great as nothing worse than hearing noise from hallways or other rooms. We were in Amsterdam for our 9th visit and again nothing disappointing about it. We went to a gig in the Gashouder, it was maybe a 10min ride in a bolt taxi. We usually use trams but this time had codes for bolt and used them most days, they were quick and reasonable and drivers always friendly. The restaurant on floor 17 is amazing with the most great views of Amsterdam. The staff are lovely and helpful and drinks were good. It was reasonably priced. You can also buy snacks (from pizza to chocolate) in reception area which has nice comfy seating areas. If you're going into the city at night the tram is literally outside the hotel. Just a tiny walk, takes maybe 10/15 mins to get to Central or Dam Square. Also if you miss last tram at night look at prices of bolt you can usually get one for about 15 Euro We have stayed in the centre of Amsterdam and loved it, but much prefer this area, having a beautiful park on the doorstep of hotel was fab and means you can sit and chill. Also should point out the rooftop bar, it looks amazing. Didn't get chance to enjoy it this visit, always a next time!! It is apparently the highest rooftop bar in Amsterdam. We liked this hotel so much we have rebooked for New Year and can't wait.

Lovely modern hotel but disappointing

Myself and my friend arrived early morning on Sunday. It started off great with the receptionist being super helpful, explaining the ins and outs of our stay, and she gave us the key to store our luggage for the day so we could head out. On arrival back to the hotel, it was very quick to grab our bags and head up to our room. The room itself was clean and spacious, with a nice view of the park in the distance, we were on the fifth floor. On Monday, we got up early and got ourselves ready for around 10am, and scanned the QR code to request the cleaner to pop by and change our towels etc. We got back to the hotel around 4pm for around 2 hours to break up our day before heading out for the evening. At this point the cleaner still hadn't been but we had read the cleaning hours were until 6pm. On arrival back to the hotel at around 11pm, our towels were still on the shower floor and there was no sign of anyone having been in our room. So we had scoop up our towels and hang them up so we could re-use them again. On Tuesday, again we were up and out by 10am, scanned the QR code etc for the cleaner, arrived back for a little break around 5pm, still no sign of any cleaner. We headed back out around 7pm this time for the evening, and got back just after 11:30pm to discover yet again our room hadn't been touched and our towels were on the shower floor. I then had to call reception at almost midnight to request some fresh towels to be brought up as we were now on day 3 of the same towels. May I also note, this meant we'd had to keep re-washing our mugs and glasses (which on arrival hadn't been cleaned from the previous guests as there were dirty marks all on the inside) etc using hand soap in the bathroom sink as we had no replacements etc. We checked out on Wednesday, receptionist was very helpful in allowing us to leave our bags again as we weren't due to fly out until the evening. The reception itself is lovely and smells incredible. Very modern and clean. Just a shame about the room cleaning as it dampened our moods to be disappointed when arriving back so late each night.

We were greeted by an exceptionally friendly and efficient receptionist and were given a room on the 16th floor with a room with a view over the park. We were happy with our room which had a comfortable bed with plenty of room for our clothes. The bathroom had a walk in shower with toiletries. Breakfast was really good although we had to wait for things to be filled up at times but it was very busy due to it being Kings Day weekend. We had drinks in the roof top bar a couple of nights but the drinks were quite pricey. We didn’t buy the travel ticket as we only did the return journey once a day. We did walk to the centre on Kings Day and this wasn’t a problem for us. The rooms are not cleaned unless you request it which we didn’t mind as we didn’t feel rushed to leave our room. The negatives, we could hear the loud music from the roof top bar until late and we were late to bed. On our last day some work was being carried out above us and they started banging at 8am and we also moved breakfast table due to the banging. We were not warned of this work. There was no information regarding services etc in our room which would have been helpful. Overall it was a good stay with very friendly staff, especially the lady at breakfast who just worked weekends. I can’t remember her name.
