It's always the people that make up the place and Rakkh Resort is no different! We stayed here for 5 nights and the memories are still fresh as the crisp Himalayan air. The service and warmth of everyone around was contagious. This all inclusive family resort has splendid views of the Dholadhar range. Not having a tv or wifi was a boon. Our favorite activities were Himachali weaving, full day 9- hr trek to Gari mata, half day easy trek to the monastery, Maggie making. The food was delicious with inclusion of local Himachali cuisine. Rakkh is a perfect family place if you want to stay at the resort and enjoy the food / activities or be adventurous and go on day-treks.

Beautiful property with something for everyone to enjoy . Great activities for kids and adults amidst scenic beauty. It’s a paradise for foodies too as they always have a lavish spread of buffet. Huge shoutout to the best staff who take care of all the guests very well. It was our third visit to the property and we will definitely be visiting again :)

I visited Palampur with my family and stayed in Rakkh Resort. I must say, it was a lifetime experience over there. It is one of its kind. We experienced beautiful sunsets from one place and my son enjoyed making watermelon coolers from freshly cut watermelons, making fresh juices, pizzas, and Maggi from the 24 hours live stations as part of the arrangement in the resort. I never saw such arrangement in any another property. We (specially my son) enjoyed rope cycling, obstacle climbing and many more activities over there. It is one of the best experiences we had in life, their food was amazing and the beauty of hills from the restaurant can't be explained in words, chirping of birds, fragrance of flowers make that place a heaven. Top of all that, the behavior of each & every person is so familiar that we feel like a family, General Manager of Rakkh Resort Ms. Swati is a gem of a person, she talks to the guest of resort like her personal guests.... No fake formalities only purity in heart which reflects on her face & gestures.... All other staff are local of Palampur and they are so welcoming.... be it a chef or a cleaner. They treat you as their personal guests and I love their gestures. I must recommend that everyone in their lifetime must visit at least once to Rakkh resort.

Rakkh- most picturesque, surrounded by peach, walnut, fig and many mountain trees, best kept in nature’s lap boutique hotel. It is not just hotel, it is complete experience in itself. Warm welcome, most convenient room, spectacular view from each room. It was our 2 days technology detox time for us. Pottery, weaving, juice station, Maggie station, adventures, morning village walk, evening stream hike and what not. Specially arranged Pahadi dinner was unforgettable. All the meals are so fresh and prepared with pure love. We would love to thank Mr. Anil, Suetu aunty and all the staff of Rakkh. They were so humble and helpful in all ways. Thank you so much Swati, Guest manager of Rakkh for taking care of all our needs and guiding us even for our further trip. It is the place where we love to come again and again. Loved all the facilities provided at Rakkh, especially the hikes - as the area is very beautiful. My special thanks extend to Swati the General Manager who went out of her way to ensure everything was perfect for the 5 nights. Also Anil was an amazing trekking guide and Sunny the f&b manager was extremely helpful. It wasn't my usual sort of place but I was pleasantly suprised by everything they offered - thanks to all the great staff.
