Not 4* for sure. The breacfast is very poor, nothing compared to the photos, the staf is shouting and very noisy. The cutlers are not always clean. The room was small, the bathroom uncomfotable. The one star star left is for the location. Avoid!

worst hotel ever! we had paid for rooms for a whole weekend and they had overbooked the rooms. they informed us when we got to the hotel from the flight that they had overbooked and we couldn't stay there even though we paid everything in advance. no help from them, extremely bad treatment! stressed, we quickly had to find a new hotel in Rome, our entire first evening of our weekend was completely ruined!

Well, where it start. 4* is a great overestimate and really filled me with high expectations for a beautiful getaway. As I entered the lobby, I was pleased with the layout and design. It was very appealing. However what was to come was unexpected. I walked round the corner to the lifts and was greeted with a loud metal ramp to walk up. Not a great start. The lift was decent - luxurious whilst still fitting a max weight of “400kg”. If you are a reasonably chubby group of people you may not be able to squeeze in. The room was a 3 bedder and offered little area outwith the beds. I’m guessing this is because of the extra bed in the room. However, these beds were rather comfortable. Some of the planks across the bottom of the camp style extra bed tended to break off but that was not too much of an issue and offered good prancing material 🤭 . The bathroom was decent with some stains in the bathtub. (I’m not sure what the people before us had been up to 😉 . The complementary soaps and washes were luxurious and smelled amazing. The towels were as a soft as a baby’s bottom and were great for optimal water absorption. There was also a bidet (bum washer) which had clearly been used as a toilet by the previous guests as there were skid marks on the wall and bidet. I’m not sure what happened there 💩 . The room also came with a lovely walk in wardrobe that seemed to go on for ever - it felt like narnia. In addition, the room came with a bench and a seat which were very useful for some cards to be played with fellow guests. Also, to my surprise, the room was fitted with a 60 inch plasma tv. Yes, 60 INCH. This was an amazing addition to the room. I could of been in my room all day enjoying the tv rather than Rome! Moving on, the breakfast in the morning was actually rather pleasant. A large buffet was offered with a selection of pastries. I felt myself wanting more and more, if only I was bulking! The staff were aggressive yet helpful and efficient. The only downside of breakfast was the lack of seating area causing us to eat in the lobby for one morning. #awkward. Finally, the hotel is located in a great area and is ideal for exploring Roma. I would like to thank the staff at Hotel Archimede for their aggressive efficiency. We can all get a bit angry in life but make you don’t let it become your personality! #slay

The room was falling apart and there was negative air conditioning. My room heated up and stank due to the vent from the neighbouring rooms bathroom and our own bathroom due to a very smelly cleaner taking big dumps in our bidet that didn’t work. There were strange stains on the wall and pieces of plywood falling down off the roof. There were security patrolling the corridors and screamed at you if you left your room after the random curfew time that wasn’t displayed. There were also gunshots outside from the local mafia. There was no clear communication about the rules and little seating for breakfast. The wifi also regularly kicked us off due to ‘too many people on the wifi’

I booked my stay at Archimede via one of the online travel sites. Since I'm one person, i reserved a single room. I believe once this room was a closet. You can't move around. Very small with a twin bed (now i know what they mean by single😀bed) the thermostat broken, WiFi doesn't work. But, it's clean and the staff are very nice
