This a pleasant enough average hotel to stay a night in Madrid. Location could not be better - next to Plaza Mayor, the Cathedral and Royal Palace. The entrance is not welcoming - my wife's immediate reaction was to suggest we should go elsewhere. The staff are helpful and pleasant. We stayed in a room with a terrace which was quite pleasant looking over the rooftops. Bed comfortable. Bathroom fine with good water pressure. Breakfast buffet quite standard. This is a clean hotel to rest for a night, but nothing more. It is adequate.

There is no soundproofing in the rooms. Also unless you are on the top floor the toilets flushing on floor above are very loud. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice and staff are very friendly. But this should not be classed as a four star due to the lack of sound insulation.

Terrific service from all the staff and in particular Bea and Ruben who could not be more helpful. Hotel is around 50yards from plaza major and on a busy road but our rooms were at the back of the hotel and extremely quiet. Location is ideal and central for all main attractions.

My stay at this hotel was an absolute nightmare. The service was horrendous from beginning to end. The staff members were rude, unprofessional, and completely incompetent. It seemed like they were more interested in chatting amongst themselves than actually helping me or any other guests. When I arrived at the hotel, no one was at the front desk to check me in. After waiting for what felt like an eternity, a disinterested employee finally sauntered over and proceeded to check me in at a snail's pace. The room I was given was dirty and had a musty smell. I requested a new room, but the staff member acted like it was a huge inconvenience to accommodate my request. Throughout my stay, the staff continued to be a source of frustration. They were unresponsive to my requests for extra towels and toiletries, and when I called the front desk with a question, I was met with a dismissive attitude. Overall, I would strongly advise against staying at this hotel. The terrible service ruined what should have been a relaxing stay, and I left feeling more stressed and dissatisfied than when I arrived. Save yourself the trouble and find a different place to stay.

Great hotel in the Heart of Madrid. Walking distanze to main tourist attraction. Great breakfast! The room are very clean. Staff friendly and helpful. I suggest this hotel for your trip to Madrid. I Will sure come back here with my Friends next time
