We had to wait in line to check in but staff was friendly and accommodating. We used the self-service kiosk to check out. The rooms were clean and well-stocked. The casino itself was clean and there are a lot of great onsite shops and restaurants/bars. The pool area is nice and there are plenty of chairs available in the pool area. The location is convenient and we were able to easily walk to many other locations.

This was my first trip to Vegas. I travelled with my brother-in-law and friend who have both been to Vegas previously, albeit to different hotels. We stayed at Paris in a Bordeaux Pool room with pool view for 5 nights. CHECK-IN AND FRONT DESK - 3/5 Positives: (1) We got checked in okay on arrival. Negatives: (1) We had to chase wifi issues 3 times and there were constantly long queues. (2) The resort fee feels excessive for what is essentially “free wifi” and which isn’t free when the third person in the room has to pay $16.99 a day! HOTEL AND LOCATION - 3/5 Positives: (1) The main ground areas are nicely themed and stood up well against most of the other casinos we visited. The same can be said of the outside with The Eiffel Tower and the ballon. It looks iconic. (2) The location is brilliant and can’t be faulted. It feels light it’s right in the middle of everything and nothing is too far to get to. Negatives: (1) The prices for anything in the shops are outrageously expensive. (2) The reward card system is rubbish. We gambled over $10k and ate at the restaurants and our reward at the end of the start was just $6 in slots! (3) The elevators can be a nightmare, especially at peak times. Long waits weren’t unusual and not all of the lifts seemed to be in operation. CASINO 4/5 Positives: (1) The craps tables were brilliant fun and the table limits reasonable (generally $15 and sometimes $25). The guys working them were awesome too and taught us how to play what was essentially a new game to us. It soon became our firm favourite. We probably did over 30 hours in 5 nights at Paris! We can’t wait to play again. (2) The hotel waitresses looked after us (see below). Negatives: (1) Drink prices, when not getting table service, were ridiculously expensive. We tipped the waitresses well and in return they really looked after us with comped drinks, but it shouldn’t have to be like that. We’d much rather pay for more drinks at a reasonable price and would still then tip. (2) The roulette table dealers were often miserable. One got shirty about giving us reward points and then started spinning when we were mid placing bets, even though we were the only ones on the table. That was totally unnecessary. FOOD OPTIONS 4/5 Positives: (1) There is a fairly good selection of food choices. (2) The serving staff we had were good and worked their tips (special mention to ANDREW in Alexxa’s who was very good). Negatives: (1) We often had to wait a while to get a table in any of the hotel restaurants. (2) Food and drink was relatively expensive. $10 (excluding tax) for a regular mocha in the sandwich place is probably the most expensive coffee I’ve ever bought. Similarly the ham and cheese sandwich for $17 my brother-in-law had was crazy expensive. I’m not sure how that can be justified. (3) The reward card wasn’t accepted in the hotel restaurants and we kept getting told “we can’t give you qualifying points on the card because we’re third party”. ROOMS 2/5 Positives: (1) The pool side room view is good (if you can see out of them - see negatives below). (2) The TV was decent. Negatives: (1) The rooms are basic and tired. (2) Maid service came twice in a week. Even when they did come they left behind a pile of bottles and rubbish in the corner of the room. (3) Rooms weren't very clean on arrival and we saw evidence on the floors from previous guests (food, paperclip and a crayon - clearly not hoovered). The windows were filthy and spoilt a great view. (4) Basic amenities such as shower gel were absent. (5) The shower could have been stronger. SPA 4/5 Positives: (1) The treatment price for a deep tissue massage was about as expected ($205 with gratuity included). The massage was good. (2) You can use the other facilities such as the jacuzzi, sauna, steam room and cold plunge before and after your treatment. (3) There are also amenities such as deodorant, shavers, toothbrushes, etc, which were great and much needed after checking in cases to storage prior to leaving for the airport. Negatives: (1) The spa could be a little bigger and more options on the treatment menu. OVERALL We had a great time at Paris . We said we’d all like to come back to Vegas again soon, but whether that will include a stay at Paris will really depend on whether they can improve on a few things. We all agreed that it felt like cuts were being made, but not to the benefit of the guests. I hope they can sort that out for future guests. And finally one final mention to the craps table staff - you guys are awesome. Hope to see you again some day.

First time in Vegas from Scotland - We were apprehensive with all the low reviews this Hotel was getting. We went with open minds.. We were there for the weekend - 3 - 5th May Great hotel. Located right in the centre of the strip, couldn’t ask for a better location. We used the express check in and out, simple and straight forward. No long queues like some of the other reviews suggest. Room was clean and spacious and we had service with fresh towels each day, everything worked as it should cold A/C and Hot showers.. The housekeeping staff were friendly, that we spoke to anyway. Went to the Roof Top Bar on the Saturday to watch the Kentucky Derby which they had a "special on" and it was fantastic. Smell of disinfectant in the horseshoe casino was a bit overpowering, but the Paris Casino was OK. Had a 30min wait on Sunday for Brunch, at Alexxas restaurant, but was Cinco de mayo so place was heaving food was great and fairly priced, the women loved the Cocktails... Would stay again.

UNREASONABY HIGH GO GET A AIRBNB

During my recent stay at a Paris Las Vegas hotel, I found that their prices were unreasonably high for everything. Furthermore, the room had a strong smell of smoke, which was unpleasant. To add to my disappointment, they tried to charge me for removing a minibar that was placed on the work desk. I was attending a conference about work, but I didn't have access to a refrigerator or microwave. What's more, they charged me extra for checking in early, even though they had available rooms all day long. I also feel that they should have refunded me for checking out early, as I left eight hours before my scheduled departure time. Additionally, they did not provide any laundry bags or slips in the room, which was inconvenient. Overall, I found my stay at the hotel to be a complete waste of time and money. In the future, I plan to book an Airbnb for my next conference in Las Vegas.
