I booked a room months in advance , communicating regularly with the hotel, requesting a nice room with a balcony as I was arriving to celebrate my partner’s birthday. The room had THE worst view (run down car park) and a sorry excuse of a French balcony. I requested a room change to at least have a better view but was told there were no other rooms available. Regardless, I thought I’d carry on trying to make the most of my 3 day stay but on the same night, suddenly, without any warning, a drape had been placed outside my room and my room only! I asked at reception why no one informed me or why the drape was not securely fastened as it kept blowing into my room when the door was open and kept flapping all night due to the strong winds. I was unable to sleep due to the noise during my entire stay. They claimed it was for my safety(!) due to the ongoing renovations on the top floor… no work was being undertaken at any point the drape was put up and it was actually more of a hazard for me than safe! Even after putting in written complaints to management, no one was bothered to do anything, not even an apology. Given the fact that the drape was not safely secured, the safety of the hotel’s guests is not a priority to them. After leaving the hotel, I wrote my honest review on another platform and the hotel guest relations manager, Melissa, contacted me to offer the full refund I requested if I removed my review. Which I did, but sadly 2 weeks after their promise to refund, they have not and now they do not reply to my Watsap or answer my calls! Very deceiving tactics used by the hotel when, as a customer, I suffered greatly and they could not compensate me as promised. Very disappointed in Melissa (who seemed sympathetic but clearly not as no refund or response to my Watsapp messages) but in particular the hotel’s main management. I would most definitely not class this hotel as 4* and I am shocked that they define themselves this. My stay was ruined by the hotel staff and the circumstances the hotel put me under. Reading reviews on trip advisor, I can see that lack of customer service appears to be a common occurrence for guests staying at this hotel. Please be warned if things go wrong, for you, the hotel will not assist in any way! Very bad service for a supposed 4* hotel. The hotel photos across all platforms are very misleading as the rooms and surrounding areas do not look like the photos. The only saving grace is the hotel’s location which is close to many attractions. This situation could have been resolved with an apology at the time or even the slightest empathy shown by management and of course, to actually refund me as they promised, but they did not do either. Please book with caution.

This was a good hotel me and husband stayed in for a week. The room and bed was a bit small but we managed. Room service was done everyday and they did a good job. They don’t provide shower gel/cream (didn’t bother me as I always bring my own) Lobby area is very clean and looks very posh. Receptionists are very sweet and welcoming especially Melissa and Seyhmus. Helped out a lot with advice and tourist information etc. Breakfast was ok obviously it’s Turkish style which I think we’re just not used to but still filled us up. Coffee was decent too. Spa facilities were nice 9am-10pm can get massage anytime. Receptionists answer phones any time of the day and we rang them often for random stuff we needed. I’d stay here again. Location is close to tramlines and lots of shops open till late nearby.

This is NOT a four star hotel. The rooms are very small and noisy. There is a kettle in the room but you only get two teabags a day. You also only get a complimentary bottle of water on your arrival. The breakfast is ok but there was no provision of gluten free bread for my wife despite me emailing them well in advance of our stay. The situation is good for the sights and for getting about the city.

Dear Manager's I am writing to express my deep disappointment with our current room and the service we have received. Upon our arrival, we immediately voiced concerns about our room not having any windows. The lack of natural light and ventilation has made us feel claustrophobic, and the overall environment is very unsettling. Furthermore, I had mentioned that my father was finding it challenging to sleep in these conditions. Unfortunately, his lack of rest led to him feeling drained and resulted in a fall due to low energy. This could have been a serious health hazard and is deeply concerning for our family. It has been three days since we first raised these concerns, and we feel like we are being messed around. We were under the impression that the hotel would cater to our needs, especially given the circumstances. I kindly urge you to address this situation as a priority. We chose your hotel based on its reputation, and we genuinely hope our experience can be rectified immediately. We request an appropriate room change, as was promised on the first night.
