This hotel is an absolute gem, and we thoroughly enjoyed every minute in our beautiful room. The food was incredible and the staff was so friendly and helpful. This was a recommendation from friends of ours, and we absolutely will recommend it to all travellers to Istanbul

We have just returned from a fabulous stay at the Niles Hotel Istanbul, 3rd to 8th May. The hotel staff were very welcoming from management, breakfast staff and room attendants down, they were all very helpful and greeted us warmly each day. The hotel is in an excellent area for a ten minute walk to the Bazaar, and a little further for Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque.. There is also plenty to see and do along the way. We also thought it a safe area for any solo travellers - we were out and about most nights. We could not fault the hotel at all, there was plenty of hot water at all times, the room was clean, the beds were comfortable, as were the pillows, and although situated round the corner from the elevator (room 102), there was no noise heard to spoil our sleep. Our room also over looked shops, which was ok for us, as there was plenty of everyday life to watch and listen too, including being called to prayer. Breakfast is taken up on the roof terrace and was very good and plentiful, with cereals, various dried fruits, yoghurt, cooked items and plenty of bread, jams, honey and cake to try. Juices, tea, coffee and refills. Freshly squeezed Orange juice was available for an extra (3 euros). It kept us going for most of the day. We also enjoyed a glass of wine and beer up there after a long day of sightseeing, our drinks came with complimentary nibbles which was very nice, and a thoughtful touch. The view over to the sea of Marmaris and all the cargo tankers is what I loved to see every morning. Of all the hotels to choose from in Istanbul and there are many, this lovely hotel is a gem and made our first trip to Istanbul perfect. We would love to stay here again.

I stayed with my wife for 8 nights at the start of April and Hotel Niles was wonderful. As great as the rooftop breakfast was - and it was great as pictured - the very friendly staff really made our trip!! The rooms were as pictured and front desk staff super helpful. It's the perfect hotel to be at to be in walking distance of all Old Town major sites from the Grand & Spice Bazaars, to the Blue Mosque & Hagia Sophia. For those less mobile, it is on a hill as is that area of Istanbul but there is ramp access and a lift to rooms with the main tram stop to access old town or even Kadikoy area a 3 minute walk. Thank you to the fantastic friendly team for making our stay delightful. And special shoutout to Tolga who was just lovely!

We stepped into a haven of calm at Niles with a great welcome and super helpful staff who helped us with local knowledge and top advice on how to get around . Our room was immaculate , comfortable and original . Thank you Niles , we will return again
