Okay stay but broken air con!

My partner and I stayed here at the beginning of May for one night, and again 10 days later for one night. This accommodation was organised by a tour group otherwise we would not have returned. Staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean. This is the best I can say for this hotel. When we first arrived, the air conditioning was broken. This led to an uncomfortable experience overnight. As suggested by staff, we opened the window, which cooled the room somewhat but the trade off was lots of noise from the street. We weren't offered any kind of compensation either, not even a bottle of water. I should also note that it wasn't just the air con in our room that was broken. All the rooms were suffering the same problem. Also during this first stay, a loud repetitive thumping noise woke us up in the middle of the night. The noise seemed to be coming from inside the wall. We were assured it would be fixed before our return. Unfortunately, this was not the case. 10 days later, the air conditioning was still broken, the room was still an oven, and this time, our room was right beside a loading zone/parking garage so even noisier overnight. To their credit, the staff did offer us 1 bottle of water (between the 2 of us), and a drink voucher each for the bar. We later heard that the faulty air conditioning is an ongoing issue and the owner simply does not want to invest the money to rectify it. It was only ~25C too. I hate to imagine how hot it could potentially get in those rooms in the middle of summer.

I always stay at NH Niederrad, and I always get excellent customer service. Either front desk or customer room service, everything was perfect, and the very polite professional cleaning was up to date location-wise. A few minutes walking distance, you find a train station, which is linked to the city. Next to the hotel, there is a heyjerry sandwich store, right in front of the hotel.

It was clean but little bit older hotel close to subway station and several supermarkets, a big Lidl was right across the street. It takes 10 minutes to reach Frankfurt Hbf and then you can go wherever you want in the city with ease. Breakfast was okay, nothing fancy but the service was slow. Reception was very helpful from check in to check out. When they realized that I am Gold member of NH Hotels they gave me a top floor big room with a city view. Overall it is good for your money when you are traveling for business.

The rooms are spacious,cosy and clean.The personnel at reception desk is so helpful and friendly.Supermarket is very near.15 minutes on foot from Niederrad railway station.The airport is possible to reach in 10 minutes with taxi or from railway station

Friendly service, relaxed atmosphere, great rooms, very fine breakfast. Comfy, relaxing beds. Decent bath-room. Air-conditioning. Quiet location, walking distance to S-Bahn commuter railway to central Frankfurt.
