On our great short break in Lisbon we visited The Myriad hotel lisbon close to the longest bridge in europe a very modern hotel next to the waters edge . I requested information from Dora one of the smartly dressed receptionists a positive and friendly person who enthusiastically answered our Questions ! She is no doubt an asset to the hotel ! Thanks

Beautiful hotel on the water! Room was modern and clean, Love to lookout to the water. Breakfast was delicous with many options. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Great bar and restaurants within walking distance. The only drawback is that it is a distance from central Lisbon-about 25 minute Uber/taxi ride.

The building is amazing to look at, and the inside is very tasteful and excitingly designed. I was fortunate to have a room on the 20th floor, so I had amazing views over the river Tagus. It was also in the direction of the amazing Vasco da Gama bridge. The room design was unusual in that you initially walked into the bathroom area. There is a toilet and a bidet in a separate room, then the wash basin, then a shower cubicle. All open, but a curtain can be pulled to separate it off. Then, a desk behind the bed, head, and then the bed in the middle of the room. I would have liked the desk to have access to the view, but it was nice being in bed and seeing the view. As it was Easter the next day I was left a gift of a beautiful chocolate egg which was so good. There was a chair hanging for the ceiling which was comfortable but not enough space as it was very close to the wall which it kept banging. The lifts were very fast, and I never had to wait long for one. I ate in the restaurant for evening meal and breakfast. The evening meal, the food was nice but service was very slow. It was open from 7 and I'd booked the table. I arrived just after 7 and was told they were not ready. Also all the window tables had been reserved so I would be in the middle. They could serve my food in the bar instead. I chose to go to the restaurant. Although I could be seen in the lobby no one told me that we're ready and after 20 mins I assumed they were and was shown to the table. The whole time I was there there were only 5 tables being used. The poor waitress did a valiant job to keep the show on the road but with some awkward and demanding customers it was hard. There were other staff around but no one seemed to help her. I waited a further 20 to 30 mins from ordering to getting food. So it was after 8 I got served. Yet breakfast was brilliant. The buffet was one of the best I've seen with a huge range. Service was quick, and plenty of staff were around. Used plates were taken straight away. I stayed because I arrived at oriente station and needed to be that side of town the next day. It's also a short taxi ride to the airport. It's a 10 mins plus walk to public transport and is out of the centre which is why I moved more centrally for the rest of my stay. The staff were generally pleasant and helpful, but as a solo traveller, I felt like just another resident and not very personalised.

The doormen met us at our taxi and helped with luggage. The front desk person was warm and friendly - we were given chocolate and cookies along with sparkling wine and juice in the lobby. Our room had complimentary bottled water, coffee, tea and delicious pastel de nada. The hotel is fine but not as nice as the Corinthian. I would prefer to stay there. The hotel has a gym and spa. They had loud live music in the bar area.

The view from the rooms is spectacular and we can totally recommend having dinner in the River Lounge Restaurant, but what really makes a difference is how attentive and helpful all the staff was, from reception to spa to restaurant to bar. All in all a wonderful stay in Lisbon. Thank you so much!
