When I arrived, I was greeted excuses of how my agency double booked the room. The hotel had given away the room I booked even though I booked it 2+ months in advance and paid on time. They did not notify me in any way, even though they had my details, both email and phone number as well as they could have contacted me throught the agency's messaging app. The receptionist told me not to worry, as "they had remedied my agency's mistakes" and they had booked "a better room" for me, so they sat me and my partner down at a couch and offered us a drink while we wait for the taxi that would take us to the other hotel. To cut a long story short, this whole moving between hotels took about one hour, so by the time we went out all the restaurants were closed and we had to settle for whatever fast food we could find. The hotel they sent me to was another "Myo" hotel, namely "Myo hotel Mysterious". As for "the better room" they promised, it was 450 sq.ft. as opposed to the 635 sq.ft. I had booked. It had no private patio, as opposed to the one I had booked, it was on the first floor on a very noisy area (as opposed to the top floor I had booked), so we only got a few hours of sleep every night - after 2 o'clock when things became a bit more quiet. By the next day I had figured out that this is how they fill all their hotels, overselling their most expensive rooms and then sending you to the other "Myo" hotels that don't get full, so I filed a complaint with booking.com and told them the whole story. The agent I spoke to said that they had not been notified and that they would spare no effort to get me compensated for my trouble and the lower quality room I received. Eventually, hotel Caruso rejected any compensation and offered no apology, continuing to claim I received a better room.

went on a school trip. they stole your keys and then kept them and asked you for money back. the food was not good, raw and very salty pasta. hard meat and you had to chew it a lot to swallow it. With this I can close because this thing is already serious.

This is a nice hotel with a very interesting history! Located in Old Town Prague it is well located to visit the sites in Old Town Prague and the castle. Our room was a tad small but comfortable. The only drawback was the tub was very deep and hard to get in and out of. The staff was helpful and friendly. The bar and restaurant are small but efficient. I suggest this hotel if you are visiting old town.

Mixed feelings

I chose this hotel because I went to a concert in the Rudolfinum in the evening and I needed accommodation near that place. So I chose Caruso because this hotel met the condition of being close to Rudolfinum and at the same time it was located in a quiet area without intense traffic under the windows. I had somewhat mixed feelings about staying at this small hotel. There were things that were perfectly fine, but then there were also a few things that made my stay somewhat unpleasant. I'll start with what was okay. - check in and check out was fast and without any problems - both receptionists I came in contact with were very nice - the pleasant ambience of the hotel, the walls were decorated with reproductions of Mucha's paintings and it looked great - the bed was comfortable - the breakfast was sufficient, the ambience of the restaurant was very pleasant. The restaurant was located in the basement, there were nice brick vaults (probably original) And now what wasn't quite right. - very slow internet that often dropped out - there was no socket by the bed. There were actually no sockets anywhere on the wall. I found the only free one under the table. - the tap in the bathroom was dripping, the taps were so tight that I almost couldn't turn them - the rooms on the upper floors probably didn't have this problem, but since my room was located on the ground floor just a short distance from the reception, I heard all the noise from the lobby: people coming back and talking at night, chairs being shuffled, doors slamming, at seven in the morning vacuuming the hallway - in addition, in the evening you could hear music in my room, it was so loud, like a disco. The noise was quite strong, it seemed to me that only the wall of my room separated me from this discotheque. However, before midnight this music stopped and the night was quiet.

I found the hotel delightful. My room was very comfortable. The breakfasts they served were very, very nice. The staff was most accommodating. The hotel arranged for me to be picked up at the airport when I arrived and arranged for a cab to take me back to the airport when I left. Thank you Billye and all the front desk staff. You guys were the best. Will definitely stay with you again when I return to Prague.
