This hotel has all you need.Room was nice and a bit bigger than other normal hotel in japan. 10min walk to JR Ueno Station and 15min to Keisei Ueno looks fine for me to get around.Very close to attractions such as Ueno park and Zoo. Front desk staff are full of smile and willing to help all the time, very impressive. We enjoyed our 2 nights stay and I highly recommended this place to foreign travellers.

Our family had an excellent stay at Mimaru Ueno North. A short walk to the Iriya Exit of Ueno Station for the JR trains, and also close to the Ueno subway lines. A brief walk over the bridge to explore Ueno Park as well. The room was clean, modern and spacious with comfortable beds and great service for our week long stay. We would definitely come back to stay again in the future.

Location was fabulous with Ueno Park up the road. Perfect for tourists as many Tokyo attractions such as the Ameyoko Market, Ueno Zoo, Science Museum, Art Galleries, Tokyo Museum and various temples are within walking distance. Overall, I'm satisfied as everywhere in Japan. I love Japan and Japanese. First trip and will be back.

Great stay. Great property and great staff. The room was spacious, clean, and perfect for our larger family. There are 5 of us, so the kids had bunk beds, wife and I had two twins put together for us with the baby. Ample space for eating which was perfect for take out brought back to the room. Great shower and tub with toilet separate. The kitchen was great including the larger fridge that was so much more helpful than the tiny ones you normally get in hotel rooms. The laundry facility was great. Coin operated, normally I don't do laundry but it was raining so it was so helpful to have. The staff was amazing. They were able to help with directions, scheduling taxi, and most importantly help us in a bind. We forgot a package all the way back in Harajuku. I asked if they were able to help call the store to see if it was there. They were able to do so given the language barrier. Unfortunately the store was unable to ship it to us, but we were able to get back there to pick it up. Lastly, they were able to accommodate a late checkout for a nominal fee. Recommend this place for all families, larger parties, those wanting a larger than normal room in Japan.

Wonderful place for a family vacation. Spacious room (by Tokyo standards) with all the necessary amenities. Very clean and new condition. The lounge area was inviting with origami and art supplies. 8 minutes walk from JR Ueno Station. Getting to see the trains entering and leaving the station was a definite plus!
