if you want to smell the previous guests, this room is recommended (: so disgusting! the bathtub was not cleaned, you could feel layers in the bottom!!!! the bathroom was unbelievably disgusting, with a dilapidated toilet handle, a sink where it did not run down the drain! Disgusting to say at least. eternally glad I don't have UV vision, because then we would have seen a lot of disgusting things… no, this was a place I never want to go back to. in addition, when we arrived we had to wait over half an hour for someone to come to reception. when no one came, we just left. our roomdoor was also open, so before we were assigned the room, we could see how messy it was from the previous guests. UNPROFESSIONAL!

The suite was disgusting and nothing like the pictures, really disappointing… we ask for a refund or half of a refund but they wouldn’t and didn’t understand what was wrong with their room. No red cover on the bed, no light under it and stains all over the floor.

We booked the room with the jacuzzi tub in it... please see the photos for what it looks like now as it barely resembles the photos shown on the booking sites. I will say, the hotel is in a great location to get to see all the sites of Rome and it's just a couple of minutes walk to the Metro station (totally recommend getting to grips with the Metro - it's cheap and quick to get around). The guesthouse is located on the second floor, there is a lift to access all the floors though that doesn't make it accessible to those who use a wheelchair. On check in you have to pay City Tax, it does mention this in the booking details. We collected our keys and went along to our room, opened the door and well, there was no flooring down to start with which was the most notable thing. There was none of the luxury bedding as shown on the photos, there were basic linens which didn't really fit properly. The curtains were ripped in places, other places they had been repaired in places but quite rough. The jacuzzi had a panel on the front which was broken all around it, and was very temperamental, sometimes it would work, sometimes it wouldn't. The fridge worked but only while the electric key was in the wall, if you took it out for the day on the bunch of keys you collected on check in you'd be coming home to warm wine and some funky tasting milk... The shower and WC had a glass wall at one end, not ideal for those that want to use the facilities with a bit of privacy. It was very expensive for what it actually was; thank the lord for reward nights from our hotel booking site. I 100% recommend going Rome, just stay somewhere budget and clean as you won't be in your room very much in any case.

I recommend MDM ,They have such a nice and beautiful room ,very good service, ,its just a couple of blocks to Vatican, and many restaurants nearby so this is a place to stay:) I stayed here with my daughter for a week it was very nice and rooms are clean ,workers there are very kind and always taking care of us specially that Filipino guy name Julio kudos to you, Thank you for taking a good care of us while we are there, and thanks to MDM we will see you nextyear:)

Clean and comfortable. It wasn’t the greatest I’ve stayed in but was worth the price. Stayed for 3 nights. Train station was right by. Had plenty of options for food and was just a short distance away from the Vatican.
