Clean, comfortable and with only 5 min walk to closest metro to get into city. Only downside was room wasn’t very spacious for 3 people had a pull out bed for one of us and not a lot of storage but we worked around it. Was on the 1st floor so could hear a lot of noise from outside so would recommend getting one higher up if you get the chance. The windows had shutters on the outside of windows which was a nice addition. Staff were nice and helpful. A very nice budget friendly hotel.

Cupboard. That is the best way to describe room 414. The (wonky) TV is bigger than the window. 265 Euro a night for the smallest, darkest room I have ever stayed in. Clever website photographs of lovely terraces that aren't public spaces. Terrible value. Avoid.

IF YOU CAN, GET A HIGHER FLOOR ROOM. TRASH CANS AT THE LOWER LEVEL GET RAIDED AT NIGHT. GOOD FOOD ALL AROUND. SOmewhat central to transportation but you will need to walk a lot, bring comfortable shoes. Breakfast plan too expensive for what was served.

The stuff at the reception was one of the best I've ever met. Friendly and very helpful from guiding us where to have dinner on the first evening when we arrived and was everything closed to helping book tickets for various events or excursions on the best price. Our rooms where at the 1st floor, so I can't say anything about the view... The window was just above the road and there were garbage bins just below the window but there was no problem with that (no noise or bad smell, etc). Furthermore, the stuff had tried to give us 2 rooms next to each other, as we were a family of 4 and that was very convenient. The cleaning stuff was very kind and quick. The breakfast was decent. But there was only one person serving and if anything was finished we had to ask for it and wait to refill. Furthermore, I was impressed (in a negative way) by the lady serving the breakfast, who was talking to us only in Spanish although she could speak good English (as we realised later) and had told her many times we don't speak Spanish. On the other hand, that is something we met almost everywhere in Madrid...

This is an upscale hotel in a great area. Breakfast every morning was good and the maid service in the rooms was good. It has a sophisticated field and really wonderful front desk people who were able to converse with me in English and answer my questions.
