Very convenient location for walking to the Sears Tower, the river, beyond if you like walking, and for public transport. Quiet and clean. The room was very comfortable but could have done with more lights as it faced the courtyard and was a bit dark. Good shower. Pleasant staff. Two complaints - the breakfast was frankly awful, very little choice, two out of three days no eggs or bagels and limited choice overall. Lots of stodge. Plastic cutlery, polystyrene plates and cups, plastic everywhere - surely in a hotel this size there is room for an industrial dishwasher so you don't have to chuck everything into landfill?

My wife and I arrived in Chicago by Amtrak on a Friday. We needed to stay overnight in a hotel until our next Amtrak train would be leaving Saturday night. This hotel is within 10 minutes of walking distance from Chicago's Union Station (unless you have too much luggage). We felt very safe walking in the neighborhood of the hotel. The King bed, accessible room, was very clean with a comfortable bed and pillows. The bathtub/shower combination had a bathtub seat and adjustable height hand-held shower wand, which we really enjoyed using. I would definitely stay here again the next time I need a room in Chicago.

Location was excellent for what we needed but the room itself was subpar. The sofa-bed was nasty and the "suite" was small. I felt it was a regular room that they dragged a sofa bed into.

Breakfast is 2nd grade - as in it’s like being back at school and of a similar level quality. If you want a BIG room for a cheap price, book the larger rooms. Basic but large! It’s location is perfect of Willis Tower
