We had a wonderful 3 night stay at the Kolbe Hotel. It was hard to believe that we were in the middle of one of the busiest and historic cities in the world and our bedroom window view - wow!

We had the pleasure of staying at Kolbe Hotel in Rome the beginning of May. A few things stood out. First the staff was very friendly and helpful, from recommending restaurants to calling a taxi. Second the location is perfect - close to Palatine Hill and the Colosseum, and the very lively Trastevere neighborhood. We were able to walk to nearly everywhere we needed to go and took taxis/ubers to places slightly farther away. Daily American breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Also the garden is perfect for a quiet summer evening meal. We would stay here again on our next trip to Rome!

I chose this hotel for a recent visit to Rome after reading so many reviews, and this hotel was great. The location was fabulous, as you could quite easily walk almost everywhere. The Colosseum is only a 15 minute walk away from the hotel, and the Trevi Fountain and Piazza Navone are also about a 25 minute walk. The Spanish Steps are about a 30 minute walk away, and Aventine Hill is a short walk away. I visited all those places and also took a walk to Trastevere. The hotel staff are friendly, and the included breakfast was really nice. There is a wide choice of toast, croissants, eggs, fruit, cereal and more. My room was a standard room and it was fine. The shower was quite compact, however there was no real issue. Overall I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to stay in a convenient location when visiting Rome.

I booked the Kolbe Hotel for a 4 night break as a surprise birthday gift for my husband. We had an amazing time...the hotel is beautiful and ideally situated for the Forum, Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon all in walking distance. Our room was a good size, large bathroom, comfortable bed and spotlessly clean with a partial view of the magnificent gardens. All the staff are very pleasant and really helpful. Breakfast was plentiful and a good choice of hot and cold foods, cereals, fresh fruits, pastries, cakes etc. We ate in the garden restaurant on 2 occasions and the whole dining experience was fabulous. Thanks to Omar for arranging a lovely room, 211, for our stay, to the reception team, restaurant & bar staff and the cleaning staff who all work so hard. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in Rome and so worthy of its 4 stars.
