This hotel is perfect for walking to trevi fountain and Spanish steps etc, located in quiet street opposite a fabulous Roman forum . Nice clean rooms excellent choice for breakfast and lovely garden restaurant.staff very friendly and helpful will certainly be returning.

I stayed at this hotel for three nights in mid April. I have terminal cancer and I was traveling with my son, trying to make up for lost time. The staff [Elena in the morning and Marco in the evening] were extremely helpful. When I was worried about getting to the airport, they made arrangements to have a car take us there. When I mentioned that an early morning sightseeing trip meant we would have to leave before breakfast, they had a breakfast bag waiting for each of us in the morning. I thought the staff went above and beyond what was called for. In addition to the above, the location is very convenient to some of the major sites.

Great location well placed for the colosseum (15min) walk, the Vatican (50min) walk. Hotel excellent staff helpful and very pleasant. Breakfast amazing and we had a very nice meal in the restaurant. Hotel very clean and tidy

The Kolbe Hotel has much to offer, it is a quiet sanctuary in a very busy city. But what really makes this hotel is its staff. Special mention must go to Maurizio in the restaurant who was always so helpful, kind and attentive and was well supported by other friendly restaurant staff. Also all the staff on reception were eager to help especially when a family member needed medical attention and a doctor was swiftly called. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. The location is excellent with many of Rome’s attractions in walking distance. A hidden gem in Rome.

Friendly and attentive staff in a quite area of Rome overlooking the Palatine. With a pleasant garden for drinks, spatious room (#233?) and a spatious lobby. The breakfast could be improved (real coffee please!) as well the lighting (how many switches does one need to click before being able to go to sleep?).
