Rooms are kept clean and hygenic. Staff are friendly and courteous. Swimming pool is well maintained. They have a good variety in food to keep you interested. They offer to take you on nature walk in the morning or evening. We did one by ourselves in the morning to Murugan hill in proximity of 2 km. It is a nice short trek for family and has a good view of the place from the top. It is best to visit this property during or after rains. It is worth taking the Massage service offered here. This property is good for a relaxing stay. However, i feel they can make the cost more economical. It feels to be on the higher side.

It's a property to be cherished for. Luxury and nature under one umbrella. From starting itself you will be amazed in every aspect. Every single staff of this property has extremely welcoming approach. They will always be one step ahead to explain you everything. The property is nestled inside of jungle and it's really unique its own way. Wild animals like deers, wild boar are roaming freely. We spotted tuskar in one night inside property. There are almost 300 different types of birds species inside the property. Its a paradise for bird watchers. We spotted three different types of owls, woodpeckers. You can spot malabar giant Squirrel also. The naturalist of this property Mr Rakesh is an awesome guy. He gave his 200% effort to provide us the best birding experience. Also I would like to mention that management staffs are very considerate on situations. I had enquired and confirmed for a safari booking which was already done. But due to my health issues I wanted to cancel and wondering whether it's really possible or not. But they understood the situation and made it cancelled without any hassles even though it was not managed by them, rather by JLR. If I talk about food, its really lip smacking. We had wide spraed of breakfast, lunch and dinner. Various tasty options of both veg and non veg were there. We really enjoyed the food. Rooms are quiet spacious, very well maintained and decently decorated. We stayed at deluxe room, it is having a nice and big seat out area. You can enjoy the sightings of wild life just from the seat our area itself. Deluxe tents are preferred, but rooms are also equally great. Also I must appreciate their support to me while I faced battery issue in my car during check out, upon request, they promptly manged to have jump start and made me relaxed. Honestly I don't find any such cons. Only a little issue is the wifi. But we must understand the location of this property. Its pretty difficult to manage a consistent network. They try their best. But ist kind off intermittent up and down. We need to adjust with that . I strongly recommend to experience this property. Its a must thing to do.

A short getaway for a rejuvenating experience

I learned about this place more than 5 years ago from a family friend. Ever since, we've been wanting to visit but only now made it. They take bookings from month to month as there is a closure order from the court even though some of the reports here are continuing to make a concerted appeal to overturn the order. This is a 20-acre property with a main dining area (room service not allowed), a lounge and a small swimming pool. We stayed in the premium cottage that can accommodate 3. The rooms are decently big with comfortable bathrooms and AC. But the most attractive feature of this place is the environment. Absolutely in the middle of a forested estate where a group of 30-40 chital deer roam about freely. Elephant sightings too are supposed to be most common though we did not come across any. Reasonably priced with all meals included, 5 and a half hours from Bangalore this is one place that we plan to visit again, this time after the rains. Another great feature is their staff who are attentive and at the same time remain discreet.

This was my 3rd visit to the property and the experience just keeps getting better and better with each stay. The best thing about the property is you get a real feeling of staying inside a jungle. The rooms are big and clean and very well maintained and the food is awesome
