Just held a three day conference at Intercontinental in Singapore. Accommodation, meeting space and catering were of a very high standard. Great service from all the staff. Management team went out of their way to help make the event a success. Special mention to Aishah, Belvin, Meena, Mugilan and Lynn.

Good Location But Lacked Communication

We stayed here during a portion of the Golden Week, so we were able to see how this hotel staff handled this stress of that busy week. Let's start with the positives. The location can't be beat. It is located without a short walk to Bugis MRT station. You can reach the MRT without getting wet as one can take the escalator through the mall and into the station, reach both the East-West Line (Green) and the Downtown Line (Blue). Very convenient to reach the MBS (Marina Bay Sands) as the locals called it. The rooms were refurbished and they put in new things. The TV was huge and has lots of channels, including my favorite, Bloomberg. I just wished they installed Japanese style toilet instead of the standard western one. The shower is a bit on the small side though. Our room was clean by US standards, but we did find crumbs and dusts at various places (like we said, clean by US standard). The front door persons were helpful and friendly. The lobby bar did have a jazz band on Friday night and a singer on Saturday night. The breakfast was pretty good. I want to applaud the breakfast room crew for able to run through 1000 people during the Friday and Saturday breakfasts for the Golden Week crowd. The chefs didn't lose their temper when getting orders for the egg and noodle stations. The wait staff helped each other when trying to address the concerns of the guests. They were able to bus the tables quickly. The barista was amazing to make all the drinks by herself! On Monday and Tuesday mornings, we were able to chitchat with the staff there as the crowded reduced to only 10% from the last three days. Jenny and others were great. So, what were the negatives? I guess it may be just me. I got several emails from the hotel prior to and during my stay asking for my opinion or how they can help to make my stay better as a Diamond Elite member. I thought they want to know. Boy was I wrong. I emailed them about a week prior to my stay asking if they could tell me what they suggest would be the best way for me to get to the hotel from Changi Airport. I did use Google and reviewed other webpages and Youtubers, but I wanted to hear from the hotel. I heard...nothing. I thought perhaps my email went to the wrong address or to the email blackhole. When I arrived, the check-in person was professional, but cold. Again, I was just in Japan, so I let that go as an unfair comparison. When my wife and I ate breakfast the next day, I realized that condensation water was dripping from the air condition vent in the breakfast room. It was dripping into my wife's food, and we didn't notice it until after eating one plate of food already. I complained to a person that I felt would be a manager (he was NOT wearing a headset, has a pocket square, and wore a really nice suit and tie and was directing staff to help people during GW, and not to be confused with the hard-working manager who wore a gray suit and led people to the tables). Now, I waited until 10:30, after breakfast was over and the crowd was small, to point out to him that all the vents were dripping water. He gave me a cold, but professional apology. He didn't give me his title nor his name. Nor did he ask how long I was staying at the hotel. I didn't ask or even thought to ask for compensation as my breakfast was free (as Elite member) and my stay was also free (using points). I just want someone to apologize genuinely. I didn't get that from this person, whoever he was as I didn't know his name nor did he offer it. I then get a generic email on Friday afternoon from a manager asking how my stay has been so far. I emailed Ms. Diyanah to let her know about the dripping water and hope to get an apology. Again, I heard nothing. However, I did know that she read it as Monday came by and the breakfast staff was moping all the vents of condensation (they didn't do that on Saturday or Sunday prior to her reading my email) from time to time. No one said anything to me as we were checking out. I got a few more generic emails asking for me opinions and reviews. I hope that someone can fix the condensation issue in the breakfast room as it is kind of gross to have dripping vent water into your food or drink. FYI, it dripped water the whole time we were eating breakfast there for five days. We just asked for or that they offered a table without a vent above our heads. Would I stay here again? Probably, because of the hard-working staff and the good location. As a manager and a leader though, you really shouldn't hide behind your wait staff and let them take the blunt of an unhappy guest. A leader must lead from the front and deal with issues. That's why one gets the higher pay as a manager.

Brought my pets..the staff made owner and pets so welcome..the room and porch were exceptional, sofa, bed and amenities superb.. Did I mention the lounge services and food? Another thumbs up..The delicious food..yum..I can go on and on.. The guest relations, Reda made it a point to remember my pets names which was soo sweet. I wish I got all the names of the staff, all were amiable and plesant from the receptionists, staff at breakfast , inhouse dining, lounge and the cleaning services. Thank you InterContinental Singapore for making our stay something to rave about to friends and all!🤩

I spent a very nice journey at Intercontinental Singapore, excellent arrangement by hotel staff such as welcome amenities , room clean up , pillow menu selection , F&B. Especially much thanks for hotel concierge staff Aliff, who has contributed to securing our lost mobile phone on the way back to SG airport. With her great effort, our mobile phone is return to our hands in very short time. Other highlight of this hotel, the Location is very convenient for tourist, quite close to bugis station, only one stop to Marina Bay Garden by MRT. Highly recommend this hotel to all of you when you have plan travel to Singapore.

This is the most wonderful hotel experience ever, both in terms of the environment and the service. The Intercontinental Hotel is like a delicate gallery, even more beautiful than a regular gallery to some extent with the seamless integration of Japanese and Nanyang decoration styles. My friend and I were obsessed with its beauty, snapping pictures from nearly every corner. For the details, the beds and pillows were the fluffiest we've ever felt, and the body care products were from our favorite brands. Last but not least, the service truly made us feel at home. Especially Fahmi, who was always passionate and encouraged us to become influencers on social media. Fortunately, we captured Fahmi in one of our photos, and I'd like to take this opportunity to express our gratitude to him. We hope to see him again on our next visit to Singapore.
