I stayed at this hotel on the 20-23rd February and and I accidentally left my £500 worth AirPods Max , I realised when I went to the airport I forgot them and urgently called the hotel and asked them if they could keep it for me , they did and they kept it in the safe , I then called and said I wouldn’t make it back to come collect it is there any other way I can get them back as I could only come in a months time which the receptionist said she couldn’t keep it for that long and would put it on a website called ilost.co . I claimed it on that website , did the whole process and scheduled a pick up for a date that I could COME to AMSTERDAM to COLLECT my item as I only stayed there for a short period of time and wanted to go back for longer so instead of shipping it I chose to collect it which also if my item got damaged the company said they were not liable for that so I took that as a risk anyways , it was going all well until a couple days before my scheduled pick up I got an email that MY ITEM was picked up !??! I was so confused as i wasn’t in Amsterdam and I scheduled a pick up for a different date but someone picked it up so I contacted the hotel and with the unhelpful care in the world they carelessly handed over my ITEM to a complete stranger without asking the name , or the reservation number or any identification to verify this individual , which is completely strange to me , i contacted ilost multiple times via their phone and email and they only gave me such a silly response “we are only a digital organisation that helps people find their belongings “ they don’t do anything further and I would have to contact the hotel as they physically handled my item so I phoned the hotel and the receptionists couldn’t answer me so I spoke to the manager and she couldn’t help me at all I kept going back and forth which was annoying . I asked for her to compensate me for this and she said without any proof of purchase she couldn’t I said this was over a year ago I purchased these headphones the receipt is lost . I kept phoning and it was like a pathetic cycle with the hotel absolutely pathetic and ridiculous they all didn’t have a clue what to do they all were helpless which is completely unacceptable as one of the receptionist HANDED over my item and now it has been stolen what a coincidence and I haven’t had no compensation nothing to assist me I am left empty handed due to the hands of a careless receptionist who doesn’t value their customers , i hope no one ever forgets their valuable belongings as even if you don’t mean to forget anything , it’s important that you don’t because this could of happened to anyone and I am appalled at the service the hotel gave especially as high end luxurious hotel who strives on their customers loyalty , this hotel handled my item with poor negligence and didn’t care at all . Be careful of this hotel because it is now may and it’s been 4 months without my item or anything . I will attach below all the proof I have over this hotel’s poor negligence

Great central located hotel. Very clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. We stayed in a twin room for two nights. Issues that we experienced - USB charging points in the room did not work which was disappointing, we reported it to the receptionist on departure. The pillow selection - only one pillow was provided which was a shame because I really needed two. The beds were super comfy, the mattress was not firm or like rock. If your preference is a firm or hard mattress check with the hotel before you book. The breakfast 20 Euros - worth the price as it had a very good selection including prosecco on offer included in the price! Could have gone to the many restaurants close to the hotel but decided to eat in the hotel. Didn't use the sauna or steam or gym. For the management - you offer iron and ironing boards on each floor, it is important that the iron plate is cleaned regularly because we saw burnt iron plates (where someone had burnt their clothes using the iron). The concierge service was great as we were able to leave our luggage as our train wasn't until the evening, this was great as it enabled us to take a trip to Harleem for a few hours before leaving Amsterdam in the evening.

We land in Amsterdam at 07/05/2024 we came to Inntelhotel Everything was good the location it’s very good the staff was very nice the rooms was new and clean it’s was good hotel with a good price we will come back in the next time it’s was 4/5!!!!

Recently stayed here for 3 nights. Positives: Great location, only 10 min walk from central station & Jordaan. Comfortable, quiet room, super comfy bed. Nice self service breakfast although coffee machine not great. Negatives: For £300 per night it did not feel like we got value for money - for this price we would have expected a view rather than looking towards another block of the hotel, a full length mirror, refreshments other than a couple of sachets of instant coffee & no milk, tissues, bathrobes.

I stayed here for a night before kings day. I hate it when the reception staff is impolite and rude. Here’s what happened: I booked this hotel via booking and it clearly says all taxes included. They forced me to pay 30 euros city tax at check in. I do not agree with this, as many hotels in different countries have city tax and it’s always mentioned In the booking confirmation. Also, there is a more polite way to deal with the guest at checkin. I asked for a 1 hour late check out and they said it’s gonna be 20 euros per hour… as “it’s our hotel policy”. Yes maybe it’s your policy, but I do know that in the hospitality industry it’s always about keeping customers happy. You need to know who are frequent travellers. All in all, staying at this hotel was just a big headache. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone. Stay at the V Nesplein hotel closeby. The staff is so much friendlier.
