Good choice for leisure travelers with one downside

If you ignore typical European hotel shortcomings such as small room, small bed, cheap non-descriptive “furniture,” this hotel is pretty good deal for leisure travelers. I stayed in another Astotel hotel in Paris when arrived in Paris on my way to Nantes: Malte Astotel for 442 euro a night, it is pretty much the same situation (I really missed American hotels with bigger room and king sized bed, sofas and cushioned chairs, sometimes you even get two room suites for a three star hotel and less than $200 a night and free breakfast is a birth right for every guest, unlike French and other European hotels). The staff are helpful and responsive. The gym or fitness room is better than average Paris hotel and located in the basement with a curious cave like decor. Like all Astotel hotels 34B hotel provides a mini fridge with bottle water and full sugar strength Pepsi and a small bottle orange juice; these are free to guests and replenished every day. The location is good and a lot of restaurants around and Metro stations are about 3-5 minutes away (walking). My room has a tiny balcony. The decor of the hotel is saturated with the colors of France national flag. The downside of staying in this hotel is the noise from both your fellow travelers through the thin walls and night revelers from the streets.

The hotel is very nice . The location is great The staff is very friendly and helpful The rooms are comfortable And clean Any problem was solved immediately. The breakfast was nice and it is great you can always have a drink during the day. The mini bar is free and it is nice to have water in the room when ever you want

34B Astotel was a great stay for a weekend getaway. Reception and Room were vibrant & the bathroom was surprisingly big. The service was excellent. Everyone we engaged with were friendly and professional. Definitely would recommend to others.

Good location, 20 minutes walk from Louvre, 3 minutes from metro, many cafes and restaurants nearby, comfotable beds, two sizes of pillows, spotlessly clean, changing towels and bedding every day, very kind staff, water and refreshments free of charge
